Absolutely a gold find on this place while we struggling to find a place to eat during bank holiday.
A lot of shops restaurants on main street/ high street were fully booked. Some other Chinese restaurant were overpriced and not really had time to greet us.
We walked on the back alley way, found this little takeaway stood by few customers. We've ordered set menu A and beef chowmein. Dare me to say that foods were exceptionally up to standard, not overly salty and messy. Loved the big king prawn chop suey (mixed beansprout and carrots), prawns were so crunchy and lovely fresh texture. Beef chow mein was so good, beef were beautifully marinated and not over cooked, easy to bite and not tough to chew, noodles were cooked beautiful in wok under high heat. Chicken balls were so big chunks and not coated in thick battered... All in all, monies well spent and worth the wait.
How I wish I am living closer to this Chinese takeaway. Keeping up the standard thank you for your nice foods.
BEST CHINESE IN THE COUNTRY… well I’ve eaten at hundreds maybe thousands (ok not that many) ..but this place is All FRESH.
The meat is actually quality and all the veg is bright and fresh like it was bought today price wise is decent too and the owner is so nice and smiley … love this place maybe too much spent so much in over a week highly recommended and I’m super fussy …but here I always eat everything in most Chinese takeaways I usually end up throwing it but this place is amazing
We shared sweet and sour chicken, satay beef, duck noodles, sesame prawn toast, spring rolls, egg fried rice and stir fry veg and it was all fantastic. Arrived still very much hot and veg was fresh, meat was good. Great value. It did take over an hour to deliver, but we were warned of that when we placed the order as they were busy. Top marks!
Just had the best spare ribs I had spare ribs in Peking sauce. Excellent pancake roll but disappointed with the curry and chefs Steaky beef. Curry lacked flavours. Will definitely give them another go.
Never had a bad meal! Used this takeaway after recommendation from a neighbour, meals are tasty as well as appealing to the eye compared to some takeaways in the area. If I have to be picky, once the chips were lukewarm but I don't think I've ever had HOT chips when choosing delivery from anywhere. Have to say though...top marks to the guy who delivers, always has a smile on his face and will cheer you up. Keep up the good work
Had lovely beef black bean sauce with special fried rice. Partner had prawns in oyster sauce with special fried rice. We had some sesame seed prawn toast all cooked to perfection really enjoyed our meal. We had free spring rolls and prawn crackers. Definitely be going back.
Food is really good. Good portions. Great taste.
Good service with full social distancing from the staff, but not able to social distance from other customers so if another customer comes in to place an order you have to wait outside, no problem in good weather but a pain if raining or cold. Meals are reasonable and you don't go hungry.
Had 8 dishes all cooked perfectly, special fried rice was different as the meat wasn't cut up and mixed in. Will definitely go back great price including 1 free dish.
Superb food. The best Chinese ever. Wevtravel 3 or 4 times per year from S Yorks and always go here a few times. See you in November
