Sanders Yard Restaurant - Whitby - Photo album

We enjoy coming here for an early Breakfast bun. The coffee is fantastic too. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, food is quality and always hot. The prices are reasonable and there’s a fair choice on the menu. It’s dog friendly and although I don’t really like dogs around food, every vis
Have eaten at this hidden gem twice now and it never disappoints. Restaurant is spacious and airy - staff are welcoming & it’s nice being served with a genuine smile. The selection of food is good with excellent vege & vegan options available. I had the vege chilli nachos and the portion was huge -
Having booked an apartment with the shepherds purse, the Bistro was Ideal to go to for breakfast in fact it was so nice we came back for an evening meal as well, which was wonderful too. The staff were very pleasant and very happy to make sure all was well, performed with a smile. The coffee was rea
Plate was super hot so be careful. I probably wouldn't put salad leaves on such a hot plate either. But apart from that I had the double french toast with bacon and it was a nice change from a full English.
Had a lovely lunch here with the family! Great for gluten free options and also several vegan options would definitely recommend as a coeliac. I had the chilli nachos which was lovely! Very generous portions
Our visits to Whitby just wouldn't be the same without a stop off at Sanders'! I'm sure I've reviewed it before, and it's just as good as ever. Tea in a pot! Great coffee and fabulous hot chocolate to accompany our lovely cakes. Dog friendly, friendly staff, warm... just great.
Really nice please. Plenty of veggie options. Good quality food. The salad could be better ( bulk frisee salad and half a tiny tomato )the Mississippi mud pie wasn't the right thing it was a cheesecake type thing not the layered pie that it should be- it was still ok but not as good as it should be.
This is a fantastic place. The setting, food and service couldn't be better and they're dog friendly! We always make a point of visiting whenever we're in Whitby and are never disappointed. Our last visit was to have breakfast and it was amazing. Their gluten free choices are excellent, it is so ref
Fantastic mezze platter and sandwiches in a sunny location! Great selection of food and drinks, cute outdoor area to enjoy the Whitby sun.
We had a wonderful lunch here last week. We were lucky to get a seat outside in the courtyard which was very pretty and quiet. We enjoyed the Greek mezze platter along with the squid and the duck rolls off the specials menu. They were all delicious and the perfect amount for 2 people, for a good siz
A great Bistro with a welcoming atmosphere and made a nice change from the usual Whitby fish, chips and pies. The tart of the day was excellent, one if the best I've had.
Lovely place set back from the street, it was clearly populat but didn't feel crowded. Beautifully decorated and comfortable, plus the food selection is quite big. Would definitely recommend the fish finger sandwich and the skin on chips cooked to perfection.
Been twice this year now and both times I have never been disappointed. Good food and drinks, lovely staff. Also they have some lovely artwork of the local area on the walls by different artists which really helps keep the Whitby atmosphere while enjoying your food 😊
So good we went twice- first for lunch, then for breakfast 2 days later! We managed to snag the last table but hit a weird time between breakfast and lunch where we couldn't order anything but drinks yet so we did have a bit of a wait but it wasn't a massive problem, just something to be aware of.
This place is a hidden gem. Delicious food and a lovely atmosphere in the heart of Whitby.
Sanders Yard Bistro is a lovely, intimate little bistro that makes you feel warm and welcome the minute you walk in. The staff are all super friendly and make the effort to talk to you on a personal level. The menu is varied and there is always a good selection on the specials board. Everything is v
Nice spot off the street and away from the masses. Busy place, even just after opening time people were queuing to get a seat! Service is friendly and accommodating. I had the American style pancakes which were ok, bacon was a touch too crispy for me though. Note: the salad is so fresh, keep an eye
Mum and I had decided to spend the day in Whitby some weeks back, as it's one of our favourite places to go for the day. We'd parked up for the day and had a look around a few of the shops and as a few hours passed and it was approaching 12 o'clock, we decided to look for somewhere to have a bit of
