Great location. Didn't eat but the food looked amazing. All home cooked extremely generous portions.. all reasonably priced 👏👍
Food menu has been reduced since we last visited. Portion size hase also seems to have been cut back. Drinks are still value for money but we won't order food again. Sorry

we called in for drinks while england match on. bar service quick and efficient in a packed pub . my cider one of the best i have tasted and his john smiths was good pint. reasonable prices and friendly staff. i like to treat staff with respect and say please and thank you with a friendly smile
Had a fantastic stay at the Pier Inn. Room had a fabulous view of the harbour with the Abbey in clear view. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were very welcoming. Good selection for breakfast. Would totally recommend.
Stayed 3 nights, staff very welcoming and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable with tea, coffee and biscuits provided daily. Fabulous view over the harbour/estuary, absolutely great location. Breakfast was excellent, very good selection, cooked fresh and was piping hot.
The food was good enough, better than most pub food. The service was friendly and very efficient. I'd recommend it for a lunch whist walking on the harbour front.
Very nice traditional pub overlooking the harbour serving a good variety of cask and keg beers. Decent menue which is very reasonably priced and cooked fresh. Definitely would recommend.
we stopped off for lunch family of 3, as everywhere else was packed and queining, got in and table available straight away around 30 minute wait for food but that'd fine, the food arrived fresh and absolutely amazing, kids meal came with fruit shot and followed by ice cream, service was amazing the
A really lovely pub in the heart of Whitby. They have a wide selection of lagers/beers/spirits and they also do a decent pub meal. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
Amazing, myself and partner just got back from a night away. The staff were brilliant and so accommodating. There wasnt nothing thats too much trouble and the food is amazing. Would definitely book here again
Stayed for two nights ,would recommend, Great service ,lovely Breakfast, rooms clean and comfortable, although the bathroom could do with a bit of a paint, on the ceiling, but very clean ,all in all a very pleasant stay ,Great views from our window x
