Bagdale Hall - Whitby - Photo album

Lovely old building with on-site parking, an easy walk from everything Whitby has to offer. Room 1 is awesome, with a four-poster bed, red leather sofa and armchair. My first studio apartment was smaller than this.... Nice little bar for a nightcap and a hearty breakfast, and all the staff we met w
Lovely rooms, really good location. The staff are really friendly and helpful. Breakfast is yummy with plenty of choice. I would definitely recommend this hotel. This was our second stay and we will definitely be back... Keep up the good work Bagdale staff and thank you for another lovely stay.
Beautiful hotel. Very old building with authentic decor. Beams big fireplace and creaky floorboards! Bathroom very clean but decor a little tired ie silicon around Bath could do with replacing Perfect location. Approx 4 min walk from train station. Small car park to the rear. Limited spaces but staf
Hotel is a few mins from the train station and easy to get to by road. Room 2 was wonderful. Big old fireplace, lanterns hanging from the beams, four poster bed, leather sofas and enough tea and coffee so you definitely won't run out. Room is next to the main road, but it dropped quiet after 5pm. Br
Basically good clean accommodation (handy for town) although bed was a bit hard. Top sheet and duvet? TV very small. Warm night but fan provided. Seagulls a nuisance but appreciate its a seaside town. Some neighbours were noisy when they came in very late. Been before so know the drawbacks.
Amazing service young lady who did split shif was so helpful, room 18 was immaculately clean and breakfast superb. Only problem with room 18 was some basic maintenance which did dissapoint us , . Tea and coffee box had broken side and simply been leant back against box, my autistic boy cut his han
Absolutely wonderful hotel! Our room was amazing. Comfortable king size bed and the most fabulous shower! Lovely and warm room during a very cold spell in Whitby. The staff are all so friendly and helpful. Gorgeous breakfast with lots of choice. All cooked to perfection. Thank you so much for a fabu
Fantastic rustic room with four poster bed, comfy mattress, the greatest of bed linen and pillows which I wish I could have stolen. Bathroom as an unbelievable power shower, best yet of any place I have stayed. Breakfast is top notch with a great choice. Ideal location for a stay at Whitby. Staff ar
Excellent as always. Staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are warm and clean and the breakfast is plentiful. We will be back (again and again no doubt) . Thank you. 😊

This was our third visit and were given a chance to stay in room 6 in the hotel, can I say this was an experience. At midnight our bed started getting shunted and next door heavy footsteps and door opening (Capt Bushell) This said 10 out 10 to all staff and big thanks to Mike, look forward to our ne
We spent a few days here over the last 2 weeks. The location is spot on! Rooms are beautiful and very well equipped. Breakfast was plentiful and lovely. Staff are wonderful. Lady on the reception was lovely, very knowledgeable, helpful and chatty. (Sorry we didn't get your name) We will be back to s
Lovely hotel. Good clean room. Great free WIFI, TV, tea/coffee making facilities. The included breakfast was fantastic and of great quality. Will definitely be returning. Update: 15/10/23: We stayed again for one night. Our room was a 4 poster in the annex. Lovely large bed, clean room with un-sui
Full of character, staff helpful, friendly and professional. Situated perfectly for investigating Whitby, which itself has history and character.
Just got back from a 3 night stay, room was lovely we had room 9 in the annexe, french doors leading out to your own little outdoor space. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, friendly staff, just a shame no food in the evenings or bar snacks. Could not fault hotel, we will be back.
Atmospheric Bagdale Hall did not disappoint good choice at breakfast, well cooked.
One of the best places to stay in Whitby. The rooms were neat and clean, ot felt like being transported to Victorian era with all the subtle details in decor.
If you like clinical, this is not the place, but if you like places with character and history, this is the place.
