Siggy's Fish And Chip Shop - Whitby - Photo album

I have been there to get the famous fish and chips and it was delicious. Myself and my wife had a lovely time there, the place is clean, friendly staff and delicious food. Highly recommended to go there and even if you would like to take-away, you will be surprised with the flavour!!
Three of us went here for a traditional fish and chips experience whilst we were touring Whitby and it was a pleasant one. ✔️ Reasonably priced fish and chips (around £9 per cod and chips portion). We found most of the other places around Whitby bay sells fish and chips for a rip-off price (e.g. £1
In the abundance of fish and chip shops there are in Whitby, it was decided to go to this one and I have to say it was a cracking choice!! The service was very friendly, it was quick and the food stayed hot for a good amount of time. It cost £12 for two portions of chips, two portions of curry sauc
It's my go-to chippy in Whitby, staff are always super helpful, fish is always super fresh and it's a whole quid cheaper than most others.Cod and chips £9.95 in the heart of Whitby.
Cant fault the place. Very reasonably priced and fantastic portions. Lovely staff. Calm atmosphere. Clean and we'll presented.
Great fish and chips. I enjoyed them very much.
We had fish and chips here on 15.9.23. They weren't greasy at all, the fish was white and juicy, chips were delicious. Really would recommend the Angel Fisheries.
Had loads of chippies in Whitby earmarked as good but we chose this because it looked and felt right and we saw the quality of the food from people eating outside. Whispy and crunchy batter, thick juicy haddock, super chips and great service... spot on!
Small cod and chips - the perfect size for lunch. Freshly cooked. A sign saying which boats the catch is from, what the potatoes are and where they are sourced (local to Whitby). Home made tartar sauce. Friendly staff. Nice atmosphere. 4 tables inside to eat in. Did I mention the home made tartar sa
Excellent fish and chips...always return here when I come to Whitby. The small portion is more than enough for me. Perfectly cooked and good presentation- lovely.
Amazing! Friendly staff and lovely food, what more can you ask for?! All the food was cooked fresh to order and the option for scraps on top just made it perfect. Best curry sauce I’ve ever had too!
Wow, fabulous fish and chips, freshly cooked to order, lovely crispy batter, great chunky chips, reasonable prices. An absolute little gem hiding down an alley in the middle of Whitby!
The best fish and chips I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot. Cannot recommend highly enough.
Located just behind the main harbour it is a small establishment serving up excellent fish and chips. There are several tables within if you prefer to eat in. The staff are friendly and helpful. It beats the main chippies on the front by far, being less busy also. It is cash only but there is an ATM
Great place for more reasonably priced fish and chips. Three 6-seater tables inside and an airy feel (not stuffy!). Fish was cooked well, peas were 'real' and not too salty, chips large and crispy.
Only wanted a small bite to eat so got the fish bits and chips with a coffee. Well that was not a small bite! Freshly cooked to order, huge portions and tasted lovely and not that greasy unlike some places. Coffee machine was broken so only instant, but it's Dowes Egberts instead of the usual che
