Really lovely place, so glad we discovered it while visiting Whitby! The menu had loads of great choices, plus a children's menu which is ideal for us with little ones! The deep fried brie was really tasty and my husband really enjoyed his fish and chips too. Service was great as well. Would definit
Lovely cafe, with really friendly and attentive service. We enjoyed the Gothic Afternoon Tea (it's Whitby, in October, it has to be done). Really good choice of sandwiches, the cakes were lovely (the lemon drizzle in particular). Oh my Goodness, the scones were the best I've had. All washed down wit
Popped in for Fish and Chips for lunch in a nice sunny and busy day in Whitby. We're seated out the back with plenty of sunshine and views of the harbour. Ford was quick and very tasty!
Enjoyed an absolutely flamboyant fish accompanied with some fluffy gorgeous, chunky chips, whilst my best friend indulged into some crispy, exotic onion rings. The Mushy Peas I consumed were nothing short of divine. Will definitely be returning. Lovely service and atmosphere to enlighten the mood. F
Popped into Hetty And Betty for a late breakfast during Goth Weekend.. Ordered a small full English breakfast which was absolutely gorgeous cooked to perfection best I've had in a long time... Definitely returning next time in Whitby 🤗
Walked in on the off chance they had a table. So glad we did. Lovely food ( we had scampi & chips). Had several Whitby gins to try, so I had to try one! Very nice. Very friendly staff and dog friendly too. Perfect lunch
A superb find in Whitby. The food, especially the chips, is sublime. Somehow they’ve managed to blend nostalgia for traditional fish and chips with a more modern tea room experience. The staff are excellent too. While the restaurant is dog friendly they are quick to look after customers who are not
Popped in for coffee and a cake. Made us welcome as well as my large dog. He got a water bowl straight away. Really helpful service and felt made welcome. Very reasonable price too
Beautiful food, we had the fish & chip afternoon tea with prosecco.
We took refuge here on a very wet Wednesday afternoon and it was absolutely lovely We had a huge afternoon tea with sandwiches, cake and scones and the teen had chips and beans; all the food was delicious and beautifully presented. The chips were proper "chippy" chips and the scones freshly baked Un
Absolutely lovely place to eat. Staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely return when back in the area. Thank you!
What an amazing place , the fish & chips were excellent and so tasty. The staff were great very helpful and friendly. Definitely top of my list.
Popped in for lunch today and it was nice and quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. Would highly recommend the red velvet cake, sausage sandwiches and the gluten free ham and cheese sandwich.
We needed a cuppa and a sit down. Though very busy, we were seated fairly promptly. Dog friendly establishment. There is a children's menu (under 10 yrs), and they do both vegan and vegetarian afternoon teas. Good to see these options being proffered. Reasonably priced menu. I would revisit.
Two young men welcoming and serving everyone. They worked together like a well oiled machine. Quick, friendly, efficient. The owner should be very pleased with them! Scone was very good. The Victoria Sponge could have been better with more buttercream (over the whole cake, not just on the edge). It
