My favorite pub in Whitby! Incredibly welcoming, consistently offering a fantastic atmosphere. What truly sets it apart is the nicest person ever, John, who always makes the experience even more enjoyable. Additionally, the pub opens a lovely beer garden for sunny days, complete with a fantastic view, making it the perfect spot for enjoying a drink outdoors.

Cheap beer...good quality and readily available annual membership required. They welcome tourists and a core of local regulars. A essential visit for us every time we are in Whitby.

We enjoyed an evening with friends here, very good company reasonably priced drinks and friendly helpful staff who phoned for a taxi for us.

A great find on a crowded sunny day in Whitby. Slipped down a thin alleyway and had a nice Guinness in their outside patio whilst the boats went by.
