It was my first time there my boyfriend took me there today April 30 2022 it was awesome food i will vome back again yummy thank you awesome food but very slow get your food i know it was busy but i get headaches when i dont eat right away

We ordered the Starr burger, kids cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, steak sandwich, and french fries. Everything was delicious!! You can choose your burger toppings including sauteed onions (the best). The fries were fresh not from frozen, and salted to perfection. Will definitely go back!

I had moved away from Whitby and it had been 10 years since I had burgers from here, but I have to say they are still as good or even better than they were before! We ordered the Starr Burger 8oz cheeseburger with side of fries and onion rings. The burgers are truly homemade, taste, and smell great! I recommend getting the onion rings instead of the fries as they are super crispy and tasty which is hard to come by. Looking forward to visiting again :)

This place was highly recommended so we decided to give it a try. I found it disappointing. The burgers just tasted like standard frozen patties but were also dripping tons of Grease. The pourine wad also meh, as it wad kind of soggy and just had melted cheese on it instead of actual cheese curds. So overall, it wasn't awful but wasn't that great either. I probably won't go back.

I heard such good things about their burger + onion rings, but when I actually tried them it was so disappointing. Very greasy and not that great/flavourful.
Good things about it are the price point, very affordable for a filling meal.

Starr burger is one of my favorite burger joints. Great retro style diner atmosphere. Reliably delicious. Ive had most items on their menu and it's all delicious. Sometimes the food takes a while ..but it's well worth the wait. The milk shakes are to die for. Even their salads can be customized.

A staple of Whitby since the 90s. I remember getting sundaes after little league baseball. Their burgers, fries, onion rings, everything has stayed closely the same through all these years and continues to be delicious. Whenever I visit my hometown Whitby, I stop here for a burger.

Had the star burger. Good size, homemade patties. Really liked the onion rings. Batter was puffy and crispy. Would try again when in the area.
