Tim Hortons

Nice conveniently located Tim's with friendly staff and fast service. Not much seating available but being close to the gas station it is a life saver for travelers. The store is wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair accessible restroom. The pastries are freshly made and especially tasty at this location. This us a small location adjacent to the gas station so it is very convenient for travellers and morning commuters.

Ordered chicken sandwich and it had long hair in it. Good thing I was eating there and handed the sandwich and hair to staff immediately. They replaced the sandwich. The lady preparing the sandwich was not wearing hair net. She didn't wear hair net even after returning the sandwich. Also French vanilla glass was not given full, it was quarter empty. We had to ask staff to fill it up. Receipt was not provided for order. I paid by credit card. Table was messy no one cleaning up.Floor also dirty. Clearly cleanliness is a big issue at this branch and staff is not properly trained on food handling. It should be brought to food and safety authority. This branch needs to be inspected for infractions.

They refused to toast croissants for us. Citing a manager had told them not to do it. We get toasted croissants at many other locations. Getting croissants toasted is an option on the app where we often place orders. For some reason this location finds it impossible to place a croissant in the toaster. We ended up going across the street and they were nice enough to give us what we wanted. Not sure if it is laziness or mismanagement but im sure head office would have quite the objection against one of their restaurants literally refusing to give customers a product thats available prepared in a way which is offered by the restaurant.

I Order an iced coffee and there was something thick and brown in the iced coffee almost looked like a slug. Clearly they are not cleaning the coffee containers as much as they should. I have a 2 star rating because they always make my order right and it's convenient to access the highway. Such a disappointment.

We've become regular customers at this Tim Hortons. Why? The coffee is always fresh, the donuts are perfectly iced and sprinkled, and most of all everyone is so nice. Especially the man who works the 7-8am timeslot at the drivethru, his cheerful demeanor goes so far for us and our kiddo riding along with us. We've been to other Tim's in Whitby and none compare to this location.
