Great find, recommended by the receptionist at our hotel. Very smart, contemporary surroundings and spotlessly clean. Staff were all very attentive and polite and the food was all beautifully presented and very tasty. Had a wonderful evening and would definitely recommend.

A great meal as always on a wild and windy night. The food was fantastic as always, the service great, accommodating our party including a toddler who was treated like a special guest. Thoroughly recommend. Special mention to Ramzi for looking after us, especially the little one.
Tasty, full of flavour food, big plates. We had a cold and hot starters, we were 4 adults. If you are after small plates, or not hungry, have directly the main couse as the starters are just delicious and plenty to get full. We had a main and desert and we were rolling when we went home🤣
Highly recommended the restaurant and the waiters were really polite and weren't disturbing you every 5 minutes to ask you if the food it good, but were around if you needed anything.

The lamb was absolutely divine, the best I've ever had, tender and super tasty. Even the rice was amazing.

Excellent food and atmosphere. Not the cheapest place around (main was £23) but when the food is this good it felt justified. Service slow once we had our mains but overall a good experience and would return.
The food was unreal. The bread that comes with the hummus is to die for. The pastry was delicious, and the chicken and lamb from the main was so tender. Our waiter Ramzi was so attentive and great!

Ordered mix barbeque. In general the meat was very well cooked, tender, and juicy. Very good amount for the price .
The salmon salad was well cooked but not juicy and the salad was plain, pricy for what I got.

We came for lunch great selection on the lunchtime menu too and great portions.

I've just looked this place up to recommend to a visitor for next week. The food here is outstanding. Been to Turknaz twice and not local but if I come to the area again, it's the first place I would visit.

Fantastic authentic Turkish food that is always delicious, combined with friendly and lovely staff and servers you can't go wrong really. It is also in a perfect location being next to the beach and in the middle of Whitley bay.
Been here a couple times last year and it was the first place we hit this year. Pleasant staff.. lovely atmosphere.. and the food is good portions and absolutely delicious. My wife had octopus and I had a mixed seafood and both of them were so tasty and more ish! My son had calamari & chips with cucumber and ate the lot quick hehe!
Prices are decent for such tasty food.. and alcohol whilst never being cheap doesn't affect my score of full marks! Will happily visit yet again 😍👍🏽
Me & my husband popped in on the off chance as we where in Whitley bay. The place is lovely very nice, staff very friendly and helpful. Food is lush we would definitely recommend to a friend and definitely come back. We both ordered the mix grill as our mains and both ordered different starters., I had the garlic mushrooms which my husband finished,he loved them that much. he ordered the meatballs in sauce as starter. The place was decorated lovely and christmassy with all the lights and Christmas tree.
Utterly superb food - cooked to perfection, venue - overlooking the sands and staff - friendly, attentive but not intrusive. Oh, and absolutely spotless toilets! You can see why this is a very popular venue.
Awesome! Heard amazing things having just moved to Whitley Bay and wanted to try it myself. I was not disappointed. Beautiful food, great staff - would absolutely recommend to anyone who's looking for wonderful food and a lovely dining experience.
