Laurels - Whitley Bay - Photo album

This place is an absolute gem. Great theatre, great atmosphere. Haven't checked out the club nights yet but they look excellent too.
If you love raw theatre and up and coming or even experienced acts/productions Laurels is the place to go. Cozy theatre and great service. Pint of Cider was Β£4.25 which I didn't think was too bad compared to town. Went to see Robin Armstrong's live show and had a cracking night! Will definitely book
Went to last night's show and had a brilliant night. The drink prices were good, staff were great and we saw some hilarious acts. The compere was excellent and I would strongly suggest people get out and support venues like this, we're really lucky to have it on our doorstep! We will definitely be b
First visit to see "Gerry and Sewell" last night and won't be our last! Outstanding performance by all three actors and can't recommend enough. As people have already pointed out, we've gotta get out and support these venues and acts more. Well done to everyone involved

Loved the immersive theatre experience provided by The Club. Go to see it!

Amazing venue / watering hole featuring the warmest of welcomes and I cannot stress this enough some of the funniest pearls of wisdom written on the walls of any gents toilet in the UK to enjoy. We wandered into a Silent Disco Night that featured moves normally associated with a good tasering. This

Crazy place. The ladies toilets alone are worth the visit. Reasonable prices. Great party venue
Popped in for a late drink after the cinema and decided to try a bite to eat from the Geordie tapas menu. WOW! The brisket-filled yorkies came with extra gravy and were absolutely heavenly - hats off to the chef, who certainly knows his seasoning. My companion had the mini fish and chips and we'd bo
