The Rose In Bloom - Whitstable - Photo album

Very friendly team. Good pub menu. Great view over the sea if you sit in the orangery or the deck. Really enjoyed the steak and ale pie. The fish portion was excellent too. I saw dishes going to other tables that looked very tasty. Good bar choices too.
Loved this place overlooking the sea, was too cold to sit outside but from the restaurant you can just about see the sea. The food was delicious, we had scampi for mains and banoffee pie for pud. Both good size portions. The staff were all very friendly and warm. We will definitely be going back on
Popped in for first time Thursday night, lovely welcome and atmosphere. We sat in conservatory and ordered what I can only describe as a culinary feast. Brie wrapped in Palma ham, breadcrumbs and lightly fried with cranberry compote …Delicious 😊 … followed by Salmon with fresh vegetables, Chicken ke
Brilliant food and atmosphere. Came down from London to see family lovely pub and served by Elly from the kitchen. Only complaint would be the shortage of staff apart from that will be definitely be coming back soon.
Lovely pub with great views of the sea. We visited on a Tuesday and sampled their light bites menu, which was nice. Outside seating area and dog friendly too (excluding the restaurant area). Good range of beers and reasonable prices. Well worth the walk out of town.
We had dressed crab and mozzarella sticks (both came with chips and crab with a salad as well). Good portion sizes but with 2 soft drinks came to £50, so slightly pricy. View to the sea was nice and is dog friendly.
Amazing views with food served on the decking looking out to sea. Pub interior was also very nicely done with friendly service. Idea for a summer day/evening
This pub/restaurant sells good beer and excellent food. It is perched up high with a good view across the Thames estuary so there is always something to look at. You ought to give this pub a try as you will not be disappointed.
Great place by the seaside! The staff are super nice, the food is great, and the decoration is beautiful. There are several areas where you can dine, and lots of options for beers and drinks. There is an amazing garden at the rear with sea views and a children playground. Inside a cozy fire place, a
Nice dog friendly pub with a decent covered deck, lovely view out to sea and great sunsets. Inside there's a good variety of seating from comfy sofas to stools. Great place to watch football with a number of screens throughout and a kids playground in the garden. Food was good, enjoyed the scampi
Lovely place to stop and have some lunch, friendly staff, lovely location very close to Whitstable, just a 5 minute drive. Nice selection of simple tasty snacks and light lunches, eat inside or outside in the garden, good selection of things to drink too. Have been going there occasionally for quite
A bit of a trek from central Whitstable (about 25-35mins) but worth it. Not easy to find w/o emaps. Good ale, friendly staff and a lovely terrace, and garden with sea views. Family friendly.
Pukka little pub, from the garden on a nice day you feel like you could be in the Mediterranean somewhere with the high Vries over the ocean. It's truly magic. The staff are great and the service is Pukka too and on top of all that the Cook actually knows what he or she is doing because the food is
Lovely views over the sea from the patio eating area and a small play area for the kids. Normal pricing for the area and quality good. Parking area good weekdays busy weekends
Lovely place with amazing views over the sea and of the sunset. Great pub menu, was happy with my fish and chips!
Very nice pub with a direct view of the sea. Very friendly staff, very tasty regional dishes. Gladly again! 😊
Just visited from drinks outside on a sunny, summer Saturday. Great setting with views over the sea, enough to keep kids entertained with swings and climbing frame (enclosed in the garden). Only thing that let it down was the ordering system and being understaffed. Winter edit: Visited for a roast,
Lovely friendly family run pub, tasty home cooked food and breath taking views. Staff were so helpful and caring particularly to my pooches. Doggie icecream available, dog treats and water. Great experience
