Really recommend this gem! The staff are so kind and helpful, we had a great time chatting with them about whitstable and the carnival taking place that day. The owner clarified immediately that the food is halal and vegetarian options are available (unlike a lot of other places in that area!). The space inside is cosy and clean. I enjoyed eating the hot fish and chips (massive portion!) with the sound of the rain pouring outside!

10/10! My friends and I found this place by chance as all other places we tried used beef drippings, and I’m so glad we did! The food is halal and vegetarian friendly (they use rapeseed oil) and the 2 guys working there were an absolute delight. Food was incredible and cheaper compared to other restaurants. Brilliant service - well worth a visit!

Wonderful staff and a god send on a busy Easter weekend when we were in search of some lunch! Delicious fish and chips - the cod was incredibly fresh (unsurprising given they also are a fishmonger)! Clearly loved by the locals who do their shop there. Would highly recommend!

After the closure of the main fish market by the harbour, it was great to randomly find this place. Local excellent oysters. Great selection of fresh seabass, seabream, salmon, lobster, crab, prawns and more. Excellent customer service! Strongly recommended.

So pleased to find a local fishmonger on the High Street (well, Harbour Street) and such great service. We bought fresh oysters, clams, sea bass, King prawns, dressed crab. He also had lobster, sea bream, mussels .. such a great selection. Delighted!
