Considering it's "just" a cafe, the food was of restaurant quality. I had a very tasty and filling Whittington Wobbler burger - delicious! I followed it with what turned out to be a divine chocolate brownie - forgot to photo it!
Wow what a find 💪😊this cafe is amazing lovely staff and fabulous coffee in fact the best cappuccino I’ve had around Shropshire the perfect sized cup and most of all it was hot 👍and not just full of froth. Also made by a lovely lady who normally doesn’t make them Perfect 🤩

We went here not long after opening time. It is very popular. It was full by the time we left, but with plenty of spaces left to sit outside. We both had bacon and black pudding baps with coffees. The coffee was one of the best that I’ve had in two weeks in Shropshire and the baps were amazing! The
Visited with the family earlier this week and the staff, service and food were absolutely fantastic. It was such a pleasant surprise to find such great food and hospitality!
We live over 100 miles away but will definitely revisit when we next visit the in-laws in Shrewbury!
Menu options at Whittington Castle are interesting, they use fresh in season produce and the food is really tasty. Coffee is good quality. Friendly service and a cosy space to meet people.
Lovely, little, quiet cafe, the staff were nice and the drinks were great! Beautiful views of the castle too😊
Great service. The place was accommodating for our dog inside the cafe even when she did growl and bark at the person behind the counter. The castle was free to look around after we had our breakfast
Dropped in last week for a coffee and sandwich, which were excellent and fantastic service from wonderful staff, it was lovely to be able to sit inside with our dog. Definitely worth a visit again
