Delicious lunch at TheTickellArms today, my first outing in a wheelchair after an accident a few weeks ago. The staff couldn't have been more kind and helpful, and the food was lovely, as ever. Thanks for a lovely time - I knew it would be a good choice for our first treat in ages.

Went for Sunday lunch after seeing it mentioned in GQ Magazine and realising it was only 10 mins drive. Beautiful place, gorgeous garden/terrace on a sunny day, which it was and lovely food with friendly service. Look forward to visiting again soon!

Great experience! Firstly, the atmosphere is lovely. This wonderful pub is set in the gorgeous Cambridgeshire countryside and comes with its own pond and outdoor seating area. The staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food is of very generous sizes and absolutely delicious. The prices are surprisingly reasonable too. I’d definitely come back here!

Best pub I've ever been to... Everything was great: Friendly staff, atmosphere, food. It was the best burger I've ever had as well. The taste of everything in it was very balanced and the portion was good too. Since we went when it was raining, we sat inside, but it also has a garden that looks very nice and clean. There is also a private free parking space. Definitely much recommended!

What an absolutely beautiful place...first ever visit and will definitely be back. Very friendly staff who gave us a nice hello & welcome. Stunning is an understatement really..the building and gardens are gorgeous. Never before have I felt at home at a pub, but sat outside under the porch on one of the cushioned up benches I felt so comfortable and relaxed. We ordered from the bar menu as the restaurant was booked...(next visit) and couldn't fault a thing. Easy to order via qr code, and definitely worth it.

Excellent sunday roast; tender and succulent Sirloin cut and well cooked pork belly. Vegetables and potatoes are perfectly cooked. James; the manager and Charlotte took care of us very well. The atmosphere is excellent.

Great pub, allowed dogs which is very helpful as I wanted to bring my dog in. We had the Sunday roast menu. Large portions and delicious. Very friendly staff and fast service. Highly recommend the sticky toffee pudding.

Was greated by Joe, who turned out to be my server, waiter. Very busy Sunday, but Joe continued to treat me like a VIP. Very rare in places, generally when dining alone. I booked my table and specifically requested a bench seat, I find so many other types too uncomfortable. I had a table in the more open are, that looks out to their beautiful pond x Camambere starter (my absolute favourite, this one njula sausage, onion relish, salted bread chips, rocket / olive oil (balsamic may be better?) X delicious; followed by Roast sirloin, cooked rare, very tender, Roast potatoes, delicious. Yorkshire pud lovely, remaining vegetables bit disappointing, they were a bit cold, parsnips bland - would love roasted, cabbage very few strands only served. Carrot slices, also bit bland. Maybe a small piece of stuffing, and vegetables give a choice, and maybe served hotter, in a little side dish? Gravy was thick. Dessrt I had Malted milk Crem brule, with its own shortbread biscuit; followed after short time raspberry sorbet - didnt expect this one to taste sickly sweet, was part melted also, not as expected. Overall 90% perfect. Thanks to the lovely Joe. Generally there appears to be a great hardworking team. Cant wait to return xxx

Lovely cute country pub, plenty of parking too which is nice! The staff are fantastic, lovely warm welcome from them and our waitress was very attentive and super cheerful! The food was amazing - especially the Butler Steak, honestly the best steak I've ever had! Will definitely be back and be recommending to others! Thanks for a great evening 😀

We had a fantastic meal here a month ago for a birthday, so decided to come back and try the Sunday lunch. Wow! We had two individual roasts and one beef roast for two (see picture). Beef tender and pink, lovely crispy roasties, al dente veg and all served on a large Yorkshire pudding. Couldn't fault the service. The pub was busy as expected for a Sunday lunch time, but we were well-tended by the lovely waiting staff. Have recommended to friends and will be back - thanks!
