Excellent hospitality and food, went once just for a meal, was superb had to go back. Beautiful place. 😍 quirky and full of character. I will be going a third time and more. Definitely recommend 👌

The food was delicious 😋! Best we've had!!! Only downside is the food is so good it's very popular and the car park isn't big enough for everyone to get in.

We've stayed here a few times now, and I can't speak highly enough! Clean rooms, towels, sheets etc. Can't fault the place. Now let's talk about the food, wow. No matter what you get, you'll be satisfied!

We went for evening tea and the carvery was very well set out. As a personal opinion I thought the pork was slightly over cooked and a bit dry as were the roast potatoes. The rest was extremely nice. The service there couldn't be faulted in the slightest and also the atmosphere was very pleasant. I

Just spent the evening and then overnight at The Anchor, having met some old friends part way. Lovely, comfortable and private accommodate. Extremely friendly staff. Most importantly the food was fabulous! An amazing carvery - something to suit all tastes and dietary requirements. Excellent value
