Lovely food and never beaten on portion size. Attentive staff & great management here at the Royal Tandoori.
First time for us, had a delivery. It was the best curry we have had in ages. Will recommend to friends
Best curry ever. Nowhere comes close. Waiters are always welcoming and service is excellent
Took my friend here and had one of the best meals of my life!
Best curry I've had in a very long time.

It's a nice restaurant serving good indian food.
I have tried most of the dishes here like Dal, Malai Kofta, Paneer achari and chicken do pyaza .
everything was nice but chicken was disappointing, chicken gravy was not at all good. Guys please work over the chicken gravy thing, rest all is good .
Another great meal out at the Royal Tandoori in Whyteleafe.
The restaurant always seems very busy and always does great food. Had various starters and mains over the past year and never had a bad dish. If you are not sure what you want just ask them to recommend something like I did with the garlic lamb which they then also made a bit warmer.
Superb food.
It is your normal curry house with panache! The flavours are exquisite and refined. Next level food. It is quite pricey, but service and food is superb. The shaslik masala is superb and their samosas are delightful.
Wine list is good with a range of different wines available.
In a time where cost of living is an issue, it is worth spending a few pennies to come here.
With it being an expensive restaurant, some local competitors offer a free drink at the end of the meal - this would be a nice touch…
The food was exquisite (and I have had a lot of curries over the years). The taste of the food was significantly better than other curry houses, and of course everything was served piping hot. The service was amazing. Would definitely go again 💯
Excellent food, fresh and high-quality ingredients. Personally, I think this and the Ghurka Kitchen in Oxted are the two best curry houses in the area. Quite pricey but still highly recommended
Away for the night at the Travelodge in Whyteleafe and just up the road is Royal Tandoori, good reviews on here so I decided give it a try, the place is nicely decorated and spacious, parking nearby and friendly staff, the food was delicious, Chicken Shashlik for Mains with Garlic Nann and Mushroom Rice which are really good size for a single person, slightly higher in price than most places I visit but still value for money, definitely return if I'm down this way again..
Good food and great service, nice choice on the menu.
Weather eating in or out
just order your favourite dishes and tell them the way you like it wow.
Don’t forget to say the magic word MOMTAZ. ENJOY
We often order takeaways from here, and everything always tastes fresh and flavoursome. It's more expensive than many of the other indian restaurants in the area but I believe it's worth it for the quality of food. I really enjoyed the xacuti chicken last time, and my husband loved the king prawn rogan josh. My children loved the naan bread, lovely and soft whilst the paratha is my favourite, lovely and flakey. The saag paneer is a bit different to how we've had it in other places but, nevertheless, still thoroughly enjoyable. I'm writing this review and really want an Indian takeaway now!
Big chunks of chicken in my Madras quickly served and well presented. Friendly staff and the Cobra was ice cold. Faultless.
Great service and amazing staff members, 100% recommend and the food was 10/10
Order arrived on time, piping hot and beautifuly prepared.
Curries were amazing. Full of lovely natural colour and flavours. The onion bhaji and poppadoms were both excellent.
We have eaten from.most in the local area over the last year and I'm pleased to say ....... all in all the best indian takeaway we've had this year 100%
Just cooked to perfection. Went here last night and asked for ďaubergines as a side without much oil. Dish arrived with no oil, just the tomato juices. Perfect.
Delicious food, big portions, spices and seasoning just perfect, not too much and not too little. Fresh ingredients and attractive presentation. Staff were also very friendly! Mumin, Masud and Bable were very kind and caring servers. Decor is relaxing, very special lights. Relaxed fine dining experience with good prices. Will be back!
I will recommend to try curry dishes like Jalfrazi, Naga if you love spicy food and for mild curry try pathia, balti. As starter nazakat is also recommended.
Lovely meal in restaurant & perfect takeaway. Bill & Jo Warlingham
Awesome place to visit on a date or with family or with friends. Authentic Indian food taste. Lots of Indian food options and Indians beers like cobra and kingfisher is available too.
Good food helpful friendly staff reasonable price, can recommend the Goa lamb.
Fantastic as always. Brilliant service and Fabulous food couldn't recommend highly enough!
