What a wonderful place. The German Christmas market was magical and the garden centre came a close second. Very friendly staff too and a really welcoming restaurant. The car park deserve a mention too as it was huge and a real pleasure to park there. Well done to all concerned

I love Meadow croft. I visit every year for the fantastic German and buy all my quality plants there. The food at the restaurant is first class... a wonderful nursery.

The garden centre itself is well stocked with many plants locally grown. Often we visit for breakfast or brunch, although it can be busy since the new restaurant started. Other events like the German Market and occasional food fair during the year are worth a visit.

Came along to the German Christmas Market couple of weeks ago with Witham Red Hatters. We add a look around the market & then had lunch in the restaurant which was bursting at the seams. The food was very good & I nearly forgot to take a photo!!

Went for the Christmas Market was alright some good ideas here! Bratwurst sausage at the food stall here was amazing! However prices was very high! Definitely paying over the odds for the novelty. Was looking at a nice liquor that they was selling here. Checked price online to find a tenner cheaper! Thought was a bit cheeky I mean I understand a 5er for convenience but a tenner difference these people really are taking the biscuit. Nice day out if you want to have a look around but can't justify prices here!

Popped in for breakfast this morning and could not fault it. The new restaurant is lovely. Service was brilliant, from the greeter at the door to the lovely people who took our order. The menu is extensive and caters extremely well for vegetarians. The pancakes were amazing 😋 Would definitely recommend and I can’t wait to come back for lunch!

Visited on Saturday morning and it was flawless. I had the eggs royale and my partner had the pancakes. Food was delicious and coffee was amazing! The decor is stunning, it’s a great addition to the local area. We were seated by Keith who was so welcoming. All the staff are so friendly and we will definitely be back!

We absolutely love this garden centre. The plants are beautiful and great quality, the gifts and home section has a great range and very good quality. The restaurant is extremely good, my daughter has a peanut and nut allergy and they showed the most care and understanding we have ever experienced in a food setting. Really took it seriously and catered to her needs without making things awkward. Great staff, really clean and homely. The mini golf is a hidden gem and so is the kids park. I would say its the best garden centre in Essex and I would not go else where. Also download the app as they give away freebies and offers. The events are fantastic too. 5 stars

We head down to Meadow Croft every year for their Christmas Market. A lovely family friendly event with great music, stalls, food and things to buy. A must to get you in the Christmas spirit! I can recommend the bratwurst and mulled wine :)
