Went for a dinner and disco night for my cousin Hen Do. Great food and great DJ.
Had a Superior Twin room which still needed a bit of work to it. No hairdryer in the room. No mirror where the desk was which you could do with when doing your hair. The mirror on the wall was abit far from the plug .
Only one staff member serving breakfast so we had to wait half an hour for breakfast

Well what can I say! Thank you just does not seem enough! The Chichester allowed us to use the Chichester suite for our Children’s Prom after their school cancelled theres, Julie the events manager went above and beyond for us! Nothing was too much trouble and the venue was perfect, we were also given the smaller car park for our red carpet arrivals and the perfect area for the entrance with disabled access too, The back drop was perfect for the photos and we were given free range to decorate as we pleased (within reason) I would definitely recommend this venue for any event, with plenty of space and stunning decor you will not be disappointed. If I am to arrange any event small or large again, I will be trying here first! Again we cannot thank Julie and her team enough! A full 5 Stars!

Clean and tidy hotel with great customer service and good value for money. Stayed over two nights for a family wedding had breakfast each morning that was cooked well with temperature probing to ensure fully cooked with lots to choose from. We had dinner in the evening from the restaurant menu. The service was polite and the food was hot and portion sizes are good. I would recommend.

We attended the hotel for our best friends wedding reception. The staff were lovely and accommodating, the room that hosted the event was tasteful and suited the needs of the party. Our guest bedroom was sufficient; clean, tea making facilities provided, en suite bathroom, only slightly negative bit of feedback was the beds were quite firm but that is personal preference and I still had a great nights sleep. Lovely buffet breakfast in the morning to top it off :D

I attended Belvedere Jazz and Music Club gig, so no overnight stay. It is a good venue, ideal for weddings I imagine, with what looks like exposed Tudor style beams in a good size room. the food is fine, not exceptional. Prices are very fair and staff & service are good.

We had our legal ceremony here last year but due to covid was unable to have our reception as planned, they were amazing and made it so special for us and pencilled in a new date for our reception this year where we had a church vow renewal.
We also had to change some details of our day as there were too many uncertainties but they fully supported us and adapted the day to meet our needs, honestly can’t thank James, Julie & all the team enough for everything and for being so flexible!
It’s been a tough year for us all x

The venue only had one double socket to run our gear from, so future DJ's take note and bring lots of extensions!👍

Stayed here on Sunday with a friend. Absolutely lovely hotel. Clean, tidy and bright room. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Loved the manager, nice bubbly friendly person. Had the Sunday 3 course meal. The roast is fantastic. Definately well worth a visit. Will be back soon

Went for a cream tea with the family, no atmosphere, we were the only guests here.. Cream tea OK but too many chocolate cakes! We asked for a couple more sandwiches and was going to be charged.. "Funny" we normally go to another place who are happy to give more sandwiches without a cost.. So won't be going here again, can see why we were the only ones there!!

We went for our works Christmas Party. The food was good (not as good as it was 6 + years ago) but could have been hotter and more gravy needed. The staff were very muddled when dishing out the food. DJ was very good - we had fun!!!

Was bridesmaid at a wedding on Saturday & could not fault the staff or the hotel at all. Everything was perfect. Staff were lovely and nothing was too much trouble. They accommodated our large party with such ease. A lovely relaxed atmosphere, gorgeous food (especially all you can eat breakfast!!). All our rooms were clean and well stocked. Would definitely recommend � Thank you to all the staff for your hard work before, during and after the wedding.

i would give less then one star if i could ! dinner was crap over cooked and they couldn't even get my dinner right needed a dairy free dinner for allergy reasons and they gave me a starter with yogurt on it !!! and when i told them they took it back and then brought the same one back to me !! rude events manger , very unhelpful .. will be sending a full complaint email would NOT recommend to anyone ever looking at booking a party hear !

Booked the dinner and disco evening with girls (about 22 of us) absolutely top night out. The food was amazing and the staff were fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble. The manager really looked after everyone. Will definitely be back.

This place has gone down hill, the food was disgusting, no side plates for rolls (very small rolls). Main meal stuffing served up like a dishwasher sponge, limitation on burnt roasties, turkey shit plus veg shit and bland. Christmas pud was more like malt loaf.
About time they sacked the DJ as he can kill the evening and dance floor in one second. THis was not worth the money spend your money else where be warned.

I had been to The Chichester many years ago and remember the evening and food being fantastic so thought I would book the dinner/disco for a special celebrations. After booking months in advance for a particular date and having to choose what we were going to eat 2 weeks before hand so they could cater for a larger amount of people (23 of us and approx total 100 on night) I thought it was going to be as I remembered. Although I had a lovely evening with my family and after spending a fortune on the rather expensive wine and beer, the starters were ok although soup was cold, main meals were presented badly, cold and tasteless, deserts ok. To be honest the main meals should have been sent back but I didn't want to spoil my evening! I have been in contact with the hotel and my comments have been passed onto the manager but has yet to reply. For the price paid the meal was poor and so will not be returning.
