Excellent fish, well cooked, and served by a very nice staff. Sausages and chips are quite nice. The service is quick as well! Highly recommended - even if you have to go out of your way to get there.

Excellent fish and chips very taste, staff very friendly made you feel welcome, chatty, always had smile on their face, even though we just made it before closing time at 9pm thank you for your service. and they threw in free sausages which were yummy.

Ordered regular fish, chips & mushy peas, as it was close to closing time (13:45) on a Friday lunchtime in June, the fish required cooking, 6 mins later it was done. We ate it outside in the sunshine & was perfectly cooked, nice light but crisp batter around the fish, perfect chips and proper mushy peas full of taste. Excellent food & service with a smile, couldn’t be better. Even parking over the road was free for 30mins.

I'm quite partial to the odd portion of chips on my travels and these are the best I've tasted in ages! The guy serving was very friendly and didn't moan like others do when you ask for a small/half portion. Can't wait for my next trip back to Wickham!

If you like Fish & Chips this place is for you!! Always excellent, my favorite - Rock and Chips with a Saveloy on the side. How can you go wrong? The service is excellent a friendly with a bit of ribbing if you are lucky! The prices are a cheap as chips!! Sadly there is no eat in area, but it's fun to eat at home anyways; right? Don’t be shy! Head on in you will not be sorry!

Great tasting fish and chips, and they sell gravy! Nice chatty lad, knows what he's doing, great with managing customers with family all working as a team. Not cheap fish, at times price for one person meal £10, Sometimes closed at 8pm which is a shame if your working late and want an easy tea. 😁15% Discounts for keyworkers, and option of smaller portion of chips would persuade me to give it 5 stars! 😇

The food is lovely here, never had a bad meal, all the staff are really friendly and polite..food is consistently on point.

Exceptional all round. We needed a large order for 20 people on Friday night, gave them a list earlier in the day and the food was ready on time, cooked to absolute perfection and they even labelled every parcel with whoever name it belonged to.

Under new management since about two months ago. I have been getting fish and chips for two here every month for years and it has always been good. The prices have gone up now from £8.10 to £10.80 for what we have but the fish this time was cooked to perfection with excellent thin crispy batter. The staff are pleasant and efficient but haven't quite got the social skills of the previous management yet. I'm sure that will come as they settle in and get to know people.
