We loved to have Aussie breakfast and ended up with Boatshed cafe, but they were full on that day. So we booked for the next day. But the food was so yummy! The waitress welcomed us with a smile 😊. We preferred to sit outside with a sea-facing view. But we were seven people, so it was not possible.
I’d love to visit again. I'd recommend it as a nice place to go with friends, family, or partner. Do try their famous Egg Benedict 😍 and Berry Smoothie. ✌️

What a location and what better way to start the day than a breakfast meeting at the Boatshed. Friendly service, excellent breakfast and, well, the View; relaxing yet industrious. You feel like your not at work yet I was. Enjoy

The menu was varied, staff were super friendly without being pushy to get your order or order extra drinks. Both of our meals were delicious, serving sizes were spot on. It was our first visit there but it won't be our last despite our home being in the south Lake Macquarie area.

Great food, gluten free options.
Lovely staff and clean toilets.
Train and Tram less than 400 meters away.
What a lovely view, even on a rainy day it was well worth the Train trip from Sydney.
We had a top day.

The Wickham Boatshed is definitely a favourite! A beautiful location, tempting menu and the service gets better with every visit. This most recent visit was Mother's Day breakfast ~ a beautiful sunny morning overlooking the sparkling waters of the marina with a bustling vibe, but the busyness did not effect the quality of service, in-fact, staff went above and beyond to assist on the day. The menu offers a great variety and caters well to a variety of dietary needs. Compliments to the chef(s) and special thanks to the wait staff.

Wow the best breakfast menu in Newcastle. We met friends for breakfast at 10am and were still there at 1pm. There’s plenty of seating inside and out, but you should book as it’s busy. This upmarket cafe has marina and city views and it’s just magic on a sunny day. The service was excellent and we loved the vibe and the coffee.

Was a bit disappointed with our experience here today. I took my parents and daughter out for nice brunch on such a gorgeous day. One of the wait staff was quite rude made us feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome.
Don’t like to be negative because I understand people have bad days.. but it’s not the first time we’ve been served by her and felt the same feeling. Otherwise a lovely meal and warm vibe from other staff. Heather (the owner of the business) is a beautiful person and I always find her warm and friendly ❤️

Great spot but often feels a bit busy. Food and coffee was good, indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are lovely but lack finesse. This cafe is in a beautirul spot but the atmosphere is very casual.
