Jessie and her lovely colleagues and along with Chef and his assistant served up a wonderfully cooked Thursday carvery meal. This is a substantial eatery and pub with outstanding views over Widemouth Bay to the Atlantic Ocean. This is definitely a must visit place.
Absolutely brilliant place, ate there on the first night of our holiday and last, food was outstanding had the carvery on the Thursday, compliments to the chef absolutely perfect and the cheese cake dangerously morish. Plus our waitress Kim was an absolute delight had a great banter and was brillian
Sunday lunch was amazing. We had the Lamb shank and carvery both excellent. Been here a few times now for both food and just drinks and always found staff and service very good. Very dog friendly. Will definitely be coming back in September when we stay here again.
Food was good but not amazing, in my opinion over priced. A pretty average pub but does have some great views! Our waitress was excellent. Word of caution of you stay in a room there, they don't seem to know what GDPR is and did leave forms laying around with personal details on it for anyone to see
Rang up 5 minutes before carvery was closing and they held the carvery open till we arrived, great service from all the staff we spoke to including the carvery chef. Macey who looked after us was extremely polite and couldn’t help enough with any queries we had. We will definitely recommend. Beautif
We went last week for 2 carveries (Sunday and Thursday) and couldn't complain at all about the food, restaurant or staff ! No fat on any of the meat, all food was hot as well. Lovely pint of poretti too ! We stayed at the caravan park behind Widemouth Manor and seen the advertising signs for the car
Came here for food after viewing menu. Dinner experience was amazing with the best view ever. Great quality food and I mean the best steak burger I've ever had. What else can I say. Accommodating to a disabled brother. Just great.
We decided to eat out, drove past and couldn’t resist trying their menu. What a great place, immaculately clean and well presented, menu selection was fantastic and the food that was served was absolutely amazing, proper food, large portion. Nice friendly staff that are very attentive with great cus
Gorgeous views. Lovely menu at good prices. Outdoor space superb. Please get some sound baffle boards installed inside, it echoes so and spoils ambience .
Our 'go to" venue for special occasions. Good food, wonderful setting, friendly knowledgeable staff, reasonably priced. White Choc and Strawberry Cheesecake is AMAZING!
Our first day in the area of Bude. We decided to eat here after a local recommendation. It did not dissapoint the food was delicious, the service was swift and polite. The restaurant views over the coastline are incredible. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
Booked a table for carvery. Had a drink in the bar 1st. Food was delicious Service very efficient at first however we had to call them over for more drinks and the bill...we weren't checked on during our meal. Explains the sign for staff in the toilet...
Had the Lamb shank and it was the best shank I’ve ever had. 3 of us and everyone’s food was incredible. The view at sunset was stunning and the outside area is really nice to sit and relax either before or after food. Staff were really attentive and so friendly.
