My wife and I dined at the Delph Tavern after our long Billinge ramble.
Staff were very friendly, helpful and polite.
Food and drink were served in a reasonable amount of time and was
Excellent.
An extremely good atmosphere and quite busy for 6pm on a Friday evening.

Great pub that I've known all my drinking life. I worked there in the late 70s early 80s around University Terms. One of the few pubs left in Orrell. Good selection of beers friendly staff. Will visit again next time I'm visiting Lancashire family.

We visited this great real ale pub today
The is a old fashioned country styled public house with very pleasent staff.
There was today 4 interesting real ales on and they were really well looked after
This pub has got lots going for it and I would advise all real ale drinkers to come here and sample this pubs ales

Good choice of cask ales keg beers. Quiz night Wednesday (get in early to get a seat). Multiple TVs in both rooms showing sport.

Good traditional pub, excellent bar staff.. Only popped in for hour..errr 3 hours later. Lol. Regulars friendly too enjoyed trying few beers.. Will be back

Good food and service. Make sure you're hungry though because the portions are very large indeed! Need to have a better choice of desserts, assuming that you have any room left after the main meal :)
