The service was impeccable from all staff, including the (I think) manageress who stopped her own lunch twice to check if I was okay when queued up at the bar.

Food and service are great and reasonably priced. Usually quite busy and not the biggest of places and can feel a bit squeezed in next to people. Overall a good place to go aslong as you book a table.

So booked a table for the family to go and eat outside on the fairly large decking. Ordered through the app for food and drinks. Very quick with the drinks and the food was very reasonable wait time. Service from staff was great. Food was excellent, some dishes have the ceramic

Pleasantly surprised finding this gem, although quite this Saturday afternoon, the atmosphere was jolly, great choice of food at reasonable prices, I had a sharing platter and it was delicious, the hamburgers look delicious.

Very busy, we were a table of 7, staff were great and from the start were informed there would be a wait for our main courses which didn't matter as we were having starters anyway. All meals were plentiful and tasty, every one enjoyed and it's very reasonably priced.

Been to The Venture a few times. It’s always a very busy popular pub. The staff have always been friendly, despite being under constant pressure! The pub now has a fully vegan menu, and offers vegan fish and chips! And quite good it is too! It’s really positive that a large chain like this is taking
