Service and staff are fantastic. The buildings definitely need updating and yes, you are next to a motorway, but it's quiet enough for a good sleep. It's the staff that make this place as they are friendly and helpful. We will happily return.
Formidable pub with very good ale. Only a quick visit whilst getting Cask Marque scans in but a belting place indeed. Very happy with it.

Our family eats here quite regularly as a little treat. The staff are nice and polite, that’s always a positive. The majority of the time the food is great. Can be a bit hit and miss sometimes but that’s probably my own fault for trying to be healthy and not order a burger.

If you're looking for excellent value for money in this area then this hotel is perfect. Rooms are comfortable, customer service from the hotel and bar staff is excellent and it's reasonably priced across the board.
Only nipped for drinks. Staff we're friendly & served quickly. Great beers. Lovely outdoor area.
What a lovely restaurant, staff were friendly and the food was lovely. An abundance of history on the walls too. Would recommend.
