Good old pub .food was a bit poor
Unsure if they serve food here as it isn't my local, but it's always a welcome when I visit
Very warm and welcoming. Landlord and landlady are lovely. Great home cooked food . A real community pub. Will definitely visit more often
Karaoke night there on a Saturday night, really entertaining. Some fab singers. . Lovely people too. Only downside, they don't stock fresh orange or regular tonic water But the few times we've been, had a great time.
There are very few pubs which still feel like...well a pub! In the age of bars, gin boudoirs and trendy traditional ale houses; this is just a pub! And so it should be. All ages all sharing the same love of atmosphere from live acts, sport and the screen and good old fashioned conversation. It's rig
Nice pub, good atmosphere friendly staff.
Nice place, never actually been here but did last week during the week (wake), decent size beer garden, has a pool table and staff are very friendly & a very loveable dog. Oh and also ample room for parking. Keep it up, great place.
Nice pub you can sit outside
Loved it here, very welcoming, great ale and prices
Looking for some local food on a last minute child free afternoon and saw the sign outside this place I've driven past for years but never actually been in. We ordered a Sunday roast and had a choice of meats and it was delicious! Proper home cooked food in a pleasant family friendly (at 3pm) atmosp
A great family run pub, very friendly, lovely home cooked food and great pies, I love watching sport on TV here with a few pints
Great welcome enjoyed my evening there will go back
Good beer, and a fair selection of pub grub. I had the lasagne and chips which was good (not amazing, but perfect for filling me up after a hard day's work.)
Friendly pub, good food. Great Karaoke with Dave Friday and Saturday. Ukulele sing along every second Thursday and Northern Soul night one Thursday each month.
Stopped off for lunch during day out on canal boat. Lovely food and reasonable prices. Friendly staff.
