Recently reopened. Much improved after Dee clean. Beer wine and atmosphere great. Food coming in November. Can't wait.
Lovely pub the new owners have done a lot of work to it and are planning to do more. Staff are brilliant. Decent pint and you can get a pie too
Called in here last Sunday for something to eat (Oct) when I asked what time are you serving food he said some time in November. 😀😀

Pub is decent enough,nice feel to it on Christmas eve and whilst we didnt use it, the area for the pool table looked decent. They struggled behind the bar, just the one person on for large stints on Christmas eve which is typically a busy night. Always difficult to rate a smallish pub on bar service
When I first arrived at the Cherry Gardens, I felt a warm vibe as I walked through the doors. Friendly and helpful staff. Fascinating historic building. Nice, quiet atmosphere, though I understand sometimes it can be livelier. Excellent company. What more could you want for a good evening out?
I hadn't been here for a while. Glad I did, comfatable place to go for a drink. Clean and tidy, felt spacious and the sport on TV (not loud) which was good. Parking available.
62 years ago I lived in the house that is now the church. Even in those days my husband and Father met each night for a drink and the pub was heaving. Glad it is the same, who knows my family might buy a house nearby and I will visit you.
First visit to "The Cherries" Saturday Night..Great atmosphere, good prices, and the live act Andy was a great singer and a good laugh too.. fun time :D
Great atmosphere, a manager who appreciates his customers needs and knows how to entertain .. from sports to live music , very friendly pub
