First time visiting the restaurant last Friday, we went as a group of 12 and sat on the left hand side by the bar. The restaurant was quiet for a Friday evening at 8pm, service was quick. The on tap beer kingfisher wasn't great and seemed watery so I'd go for bottled cobra. The food was actually great, the tastiest chicken tikka masala I've had in a very long time. Bombay aloo was also tasty. Toilets could do with being serviced through the night as they got fairly dirty as the evening went on

We arrived as a large group. A table was made for us.
No mistakes with the orders and all the food was delicious.
Would recommend for both eating in and take away.

Staff really nice! And eager to please! I like a Vindaloo, but always like to have it hotter! The chef was more than happy to increase the heat for me!!

Simply amazing food.. I ordered far too much but ate it all.. the staff were pleasant and welcoming, the chairs comfy, the interior nice.. the highlight had to have been the food.. delightful, very nice indeed.. Will be sure to visit again next time I'm in the Cambridge area

The curry's at Royal Bengal are amazing. The food always tastes fresh and expertly cooked. The staff are friendly and approachable. Such an asset to our village.
Food can be hit or miss but usually good. Pleased they survived covid era and we tend to get a takeaway Sunday evening.

We had a very nice meal here, everything was very clean, the waiters were attentive and helpful and the food came promptly. The Butterfly King Prawn starter was good and there was a good range of curries for the mains, the Lamb Tikka Lababdar was delicious
The Mrs and myself have had
numerous takeaways and been in a couple of times for a sit down. We have always had great food and service. The king prawn Biryani and lamb tikka bhuna we had on Monday was the best I have ever had. Keep up the good work 👏🏻
