Brilliant pub. Great as a drinking pub or for those wanting to eat. Meals a reasonable price and good service.
We walked from the marina for lunch before the storm was due. I had chicken, ham hock and leek pie with mash, peas, green beans and lashings of gravy. It was delicious and hot. I then had apple crumble and custard for dessert, and that too was delicious. Plenty of crumble and plenty of custard.

We had a meal here in the week and we couldn't fault them , I had beef bourguignon & my fiancee had rump steak and they were both lovely. The beer was excellent and the staff were friendly. The pub has a great , relaxed atmosphere and the decor is really nice. Overall we really enjoyed it here and
Called in for first time to this pub. It has just reopened after a refit and is very nice. Although we did not eat on this occasion we will return in the future to do so. Menu had something for everyone. Staff were pleasant and the atmosphere inside was nice on our visit.

Went for a family meal 6 adults and 4 dogs on a night when an important football match was on. Lively atmosphere, very busy. The staff were amazing, service was prompt and friendly, good was fantastic and prices very competitive.
Nice atmosphere, gvfm beer & food, in fact.... excellent!! I keep having the BLT sandwich with chips & salad, add a pint of lager, total £10.70!! Brilliant! Landlady actually bought a bottle of salad cream just for me! Can't fault it! But if you you paint on your eyebrows, better head for the Dragon
What a great pub! We look for a great atmosphere, fab food, and excellent staff - the Green man has it all. This was the 4th pub we tried for food, the Bull and Red Lion in Repton and the Dragon round the corner. This is the best pub in the area and also at excellent value! The staff were attent
We were a party off 10. We all had food, all of which was very good, not a single complaint. The staff were exceptionally good on what was a very busy afternoon and evening. Thanks to all concerned.
