This place is a little gem in downtown Wilmington. Good is delicious, the service is awesome, and the wait time is busy but well worth the wait. There is a stair climb up to the restaurant. Street parking is competitive.

The food was very good, especially the sashimi, really fresh and tasty. The service was also great. They were able to seat us without a reservation on a Friday - very appreciative of that.
I would definitely recommend Yosake to anyone for good sushi.

Came here for my birthday dinner. Off to a good start with the appetizers, they came quickly and with good portions. The crab dip and firecracker shrimp were the best. The waitress disappeared after that , and during the course of the meal were left with all our dirty plates for the next hour and a half, and waiting to get drinks refilled. Sushi was ok, the Generoll appetizer sushi was the best. Overall had a decent time, shame about the service. Would try the happy hour again.

Kobe burger w as OUTSTANDING and cooked perfectly. My California roll and Avacado roll were super good. Love the Early Bird ! Lina was our excellent waitress. We will be back…..soon !!

Found our favorite sushi place in town! The place is amazing, from the food to the service to the vibe. The happy hour menu is a steal. The firecracker shrimp app is perfectly crispy. All of the rolls we had were unique with lots of flavor. The cocktails were delicious. We'll keep coming back for our sushi fix.

Delicious dining experience with very cool ambiance. We both ordered a sake bomb ($7 on Saturday’s), poke bowl, and the green lipstick cocktail. The poke bowl was very filling and had so many flavors. Would definitely recommend.

Loved everything about this place. Started off with a coconut, lemongrass soup - delicious and unique!
For entrees - the Kids had the burger which won their approval, my husband had fiery chicken (which did not live up to the expectation unfortunately - lacking in flavor, depth, and respectfully should be reconsidered as a whole honestly)
I had the massaman curry, which was absolutely phenomenal. I'd drive back to Wilmington from Charlotte just to have that dish. Our waitress was attentive and super helpful, and the overall atmosphere was great. Will definitely have dinner here again.
