S&l New York Style Deli

I absolutely love S&L deli. It’s a hidden gem in Wilmington as far as local restaurants go. They have amazing breakfast food, they have a cozy atmosphere and they are very reasonably priced. I would recommend their home made desserts and bagels as some of the best I’ve ever had. I love the employees here, they are always very friendly and helpful. I’ve never had a negative experience ordering over the phone to go or while dining in the restaurant. If 6 stars were an option they’d be the one I’d give that rating to. LOVE S&L!!!

Our office had S & L NY Deli cater a Thanksgiving Buffet for our office. The Food was delivered on time and HOT. This came with Roasted Turkey, Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Gravy, Seasoned Green Beans, Cranberry Sauce and Rolls... The Meal was FANTASTIC!!! I highly recommend them and will definitely be using them again!!!

This is an authentic New York style deli. Breakfast is always good, and affordable. Tried the grits for the first time. They were tasty although the consistency was not to my liking but that has nothing to do with the preparation grits are hard to season if they're not done while cooking and these were seasoned just right. Two waitresses working a slammed restaurant kept up with everything and got everything correct. Not my first time and won't be my last.

Great food at good prices. Love the shadow art on the front window and the mural ok the side or the building! We got two sausage egg and cheese on everything bagels. They did not skimp on anything and the sausage patty was just as big as the bagel! The bagels were fluffy and delicious! Too many store bought or hard as a rock bagels everywhere. We just missed it, but they informed us that they have a breakfast menu and the bagels come with sides for breakfast. That sounds like a great deal! The owner and his wife were nice and friendly despite being beyond busy. They never dropped their smile or good attitude despite how busy they were. That is a good sign right there! We will absolutely be back and we can't wait to try more of what they have to offer!

Went for lunch today and got the Grilled Salsalito Turkey Breast on a Toasted Garlic Bun. It was SO good. The side of coleslaw was fresh and tasty. Not too sweet. I had to take home two Lemon Bars. These, hands down, are my favorite dessert in town. Homemade & delicious. The staff there are always friendly and welcoming. It's a great vibe with awesome food!

We stopped here for breakfast after my son's very early doctor's appointment. My son said the Mickey pancakes were delicious and he loved his bacon. I ordered the Dr. "Somebody" bagel sandwich. It has jalapeño cream cheese which was very tasty. I also purchased some cannoli to take home. One of the large chocolate coated and 4 small traditional cannolis. Tastes just like the ones we used to get in NYC.
