The Hwy 55 crew on 421South was friendly prompt with their service when I stopped by today.
I intended to take my order out, but when I opened the to-go box containing my little chicken cheese steak sandwich, I realized that it was so chock-full of chicken, grilled onions peppers and mushrooms, and brimming with melted provolone cheese, that I had to stay inside to eat it! It was delicious!
And, in today's economy, I don't know anywhere else that you can get lunch:
I am a sandwich, fries and a drink for under $8.

A great burger, comes with side and drink. Busy Father's day but happy, courteous staff. The ice cream is home made and very creamy. Came back and the burgers and service are still excellent! Fired pickles were delicious.

Dining area was closed today so we got it to go. Pretty fast service. The girl was really nice and thoughtful. Burgers and onion rings are very tasty!! Mom & I are from the Midwest so were happy to find a place to get yummy burgers.

Cute 1950's style decor and restaurant. Great place to hit up after walking/playing at Veterans Park Nature Reserve. The milkshakes, hamburgers, and tater tots were all yummy. The staff were friendly, and the prices were Very Reasonable. It's definitely worth the stop!

All American Cheese Burgers
Shrimp platter
Onion Rings
Hot Dogs
Cookie dough shake
The shrimp was super fresh and cooked perfectly.
The burger meat was soft and flavorful, fresh lettuce and tomato and very soft buns were delicious.
Onion rings nice and crisp, hot dogs really good and of course the shake was nice and thick, lots of cookie dough on the bottom too.
Will definitely come back next year during our family vacation!

Best burger and fries I've had in a long time. The waitstaff were super friendly. The atmosphere is quite unique and nostalgic. I loved the ambiance and the music just made it feel like a trip back in time to my high school days.
