Chipotle Mexican Grill

This used to be my favorite location, but over the last year or so it’s fines pretty downhill. I used to eat here 2-3x a week, but I hardly go anymore because I keep having terrible experiences. The most recent experience was 02/20 around lunch time, they didn’t have plain white rice (which has happened the last 2 times i’ve tried to come here), which is pretty much a deal-breaker for me because I have the gene that makes cilantro taste like soap. The chicken was also burnt, and the employees on the main line had absolutely no customer service skills and seemed like they hate their jobs. As someone who works in food service, that definitely stood out to me. The lady doing the online orders was very friendly, but sadly she didn’t have anything to do with preparing my personal order. The cleanliness of the store has gone way down as well. Unfortunately, this place is not what it use to be. update 6/15/2023: This is my 3rd time visiting over the past month, and I can say they have definitely started improving! They have had my plain rice every time I’ve been recently and the service has been much better. Wait times are not nearly as long and the employees have been much friendlier! Cleanliness can still be improved but overall, everything is headed in the right direction. Hopefully they continue on this path and they will continue getting our business!

Line help in fact all employees looked like they were there by force. No one had a smile or greeted us. I was embarrassed as my husband had never been there before and I have raved over it for years. I usually go to one by independence mall and will only go to that one from now on. The food was cold and not at all what I was used to. Will not be going back there ever.

I’m honestly shocked at how the ratings on this location are lower than the Fordham location because this team will never disappoint. Recently I’ve been craving burritos and this is my go-to spot if I want it done right. My food always comes out perfect, well seasoned, & there’s enough to keep me fed for the rest of the day. I 10/10 recommend this location if you’re looking to be satisfied and always get your money’s worth. (I also like the people who work here, they’re sweet and hardworking) ❤️
