Mcdonald's

I mean, it's McDonald's and most of the ones near town are pretty ghetto. You're probably gonna get hit up for change and/or a cig, but it goes with the territory. Great deals on the app make it worth the trouble. And when you order that way you don't ever have to deal with any of the staff. This one is a little more laid back and a million times better than the one on Market. If I want a clean, peaceful, mostly vagrant free McDonald's trip, I go to the one on Eastwood and Independence. That one is chill as hell.

I came through the drive through on Thursday 5/26 at 5:15pm. I was greeted through the microphone by a young man who was not only incredibly pleasant but belted on the mickey d’s jingle. At the window he was again amazingly pleasant with a genuine smile and a wonderful demeanor. I manage a local restaurant and would love to have such enthusiastic employees. Even after a long stressful day, I couldn’t help but smile, his personality was that contagious! I don’t know his name but I would like to give a huge shoutout to the man on the mic! The burger was pretty good too!

My Egg McMuffin was assembled with no pride of workmanship. The breakfast sandwich was just slammed together. All the ingredients were displaced and lop sided. The cashier had attitude. The cashier bellowed out, to another employee, to give them a cigarette, as the other employee was leaving to take a break. This location is a hangout for the local street panhandlers. They pass and share their beverage cups for free refills. And, they pass along their cardboard signs to each other. Actually, the panhandlers are very well organized. This McDonalds must be their base of operations.
