El Diablo

My family was introduced to El Diablos when my oldest daughter started working there. Of course, we had to visit to see her. We’re glad we did. We had no idea what to expect. Almost everyone has eaten a burrito in their lives, but you really haven’t had a burrito until you visit El Diablo. They have a special burrito menu that they suggest of steak, pork, chicken or even fish. You aren’t required to get what they suggest as you can design your own. The chips are made on site. They have much more than burritos, but that’s what I go for. It’s a great place for takeout, but you can certainly eat there. When we went there were only 2 restaurants. Today there are four. If you haven’t eaten there, it’s a Delaware must!

We are from out of the area but visited based on a recommendation from a local. We love Chipotle and we loved El Diablo even more. The burrito was enormous. We also got a bowl and it was delicious. Try the chipotle ranch, you won’t be disappointed. The staff member was super helpful in helping us decide our order. At the time I’m writing this, the inside is not open for dine in. There is a parking lot though. Thank you!

It was national burrito day last week. Who knew there was such a freaking ridiculous thing!? But I found a list online that had the best burrito joint in each state listed. I looked because I was going to call BS if it wasn't El Diablo in DE. But lo and behold, El Diablo it was! I guess it's not really that big a secret. I think my son would get their pitchfork devil mascot guy as a tattoo if he wasn't only 12.

THERES A CATCH TO THIS REVIEW.... I love this place. The food is always excellent.. And the service is even better. I live far away so it very seldom that I get this to eat.... Today went in and didn't have any cash on me so the girl said they would have to take my info... I was like well I suppose so... but by the time I ordered they had it fixed... So I ordered 2 chicken quasadillas... and UNFORTUNATLY THEY DID NOT FILL ONE OF MY QUASADILLAS UP.. ONE OF THE QUARTER PIECES OF QUASADILLA WAS NOTHING.. THESE THINGS ARE NOT CHEAP THIS IS NOT SATISFACTORY...These things are like 12 dollars. THIS WAS MY FAMILYS DINNER...... VERY DISSAPPOINTED EL DIABLO..You can do better than that... I don't eat Chipotle... I am assuming they are similar. I will have to check them out.
