Vincente's Restaurant

My date and I went to Vincente's last night as a last resort, I've been living in this area for a while and I've never been. The food was absolutely amazing and the service was phenomenal. It didn't take long for me to know I would be back. Per the other reviews we tried the caesar salad and it didn't disappoint it made right in front of you fresh. Very good food, great portion size, great prices if you haven't been go. Ask for Maddy she is a very good server and very knowledgeable about everything! Chicken Marsala was perfect, husband got Chicken Parm and said is was great! Found my new Italian restaurant! Oh yeah if you like wine I would recommend Bertenura Marsala!

The food and service was wonderful! What a great night out. Crabcakes were excellent. And between the cheesecake and peanut butter bombs for dessert I know everyone in my party enjoyed themselves thoroughly. The atmosphere in the dining room was exciting and inviting and I can't wait to return see what else they have to offer. We ordered entrees and desserts and couldn't have been happier. Thank you to the staff for everything!

I am not one to make reviews especially not based on first impressions. However, the short experience in this restaurant could not go unaddressed. We called for a party of 6. It was our mistake not including a baby who we would also be bringing with us. Hence a party of 7, although the baby would not actually be eating. The restaurant was completely empty when we arrived. We were met by the hostess with some kind of aggravated negative energy even before we mentioned our mistake of forgetting to include the baby. We were not welcomed, and for any restaurant let alone a fancy restaurant, one would expect simple signs of hospitality. We suggested putting tables together to fit our party of 7 that was unable to fit in the table. ESPECIALLY since the restaurant was completely empty, dead, etc… The hosted instantly shut down the idea of putting two tables together, and did not offer any accommodations or any alternative. Her tone, energy, and unwillingness to ACTUALLY help us gave us the sense that we were not wanted or welcomed there. Every time we offered a suggestion, we were met with an attitude, the hostess sucking her teeth, and breathing heavily to show irritation. Please keep in mind we had just arrived, we often go out to restaurants, we are never met with such poor service. We decided to leave and let them know why we left. We figured that if the energy was going to be so negative, imagine the food, did not want to take that risk. They were pretty loud and agitated in response to our explanation and our departure. Respectfully, never again.

I've lived in this area most of my life and, until yesterday, had not tried Vincent's. Maybe the appeal of the place is to older folks, but appeal it did. I had an Italian standard, lasagna. It was good, firm enough noodles, not too much sauce,. I would have liked a bit less manicotti. My dining friends enjoyed theirs as well. One special ordered bits and pieces from several menu items and they cheerfully and skillfully combined the dishes. The place seems to have some exotic ideas about salad. Our house salads were fresh, but the Romain was not cut. Since it sat on carrots, the Romain was difficult to cut - and impossible to keep on the plate while cutting. They also had a guy coming around to tables that ordered Caeser salad to make it - and make a show of it. He was a minor distraction, but his aim, when throwing croutons across the room, was off. One does not expect to get hit with flying food in what otherwise was a nice restaurant.

Was excited to try this restaurant after driving by multiple times since we moved here over 20 years ago, and it was my birthday. Checked the reviews and although there were a few bad ones, most were good, so we gave it a try. It was disappointing, ceasar salad is delicious and he gives a nice presentation. We had the Chicken Leah Brie, crab stuffed chicken with shrimp in a orange sauce. It was very bland, no crab taste, chicken tasted like it was boiled and it had 2 shrimp, the sauce didn't have a flavorful taste either. It wasn't bad, just bland. Had the cheese cake crème brule, delicious! Had 2 chocolate martinis, also very good. Price was expensive for such a blah entrée. Tipped the waitress well, she was excellent. Probably won't go back. I love Italian food and it was just too disappointing.
