Timothy's Riverfront Grill

Our server needs work on her professionalism. She very loudly made a comment for all to hear that her last table only left a $5 tip on their $70 bill. Food was ok but our entrees were served before our appetizer arrived. A comment was then made about having to take extra time to make two strawberry lemonades. If you can't be bothered to make them, don't offer them! Poor experience for a first time visit!

I love it! I've planned and hosted three events at Timorhy's and it's almost perfect! I rarely have a chance to actually eat at my events, but I've always received great reviews on the food and drinks. I love the additional space of the patio and the bar. My only negatives are: I don't like short tablecloths at evening events and wish they offered a floor-length option, and I wish parking was a little more convenient for seniors and handicapped.

food was pretty good. i had the cheese steak egg rolls for starters which i couldn’t get a picture of because i ate them so fast. hubby had the short rib tacos with sweet potato fries. i had salmon citrus salad which was nice. we sat outside. staff was nice but understaffed which is understandable due to covid. the staff is fully vaccinated. the bathroom was dirty. other than that i have been coming for years food always been good.

Timothy's Riverfront Restaurant had some of the finest nachos and wings from the state of Delaware. And the views of the estuary were awe-inspiring. Our only reservations were the low level of service due to limited staff during difficult times. I don't know if we needed to post a sign about low worker participation as much as we needed the TV and the sound system to mitigate the noise of meals. These are the details for us that they seemed to have missed - FOH, ambiance and a mister for humidity on hot summer days. However, we continue to encourage them based on their location. But let's be honest, a live jazz band would've elevated the entire atmosphere and energy of this establishment.

Timothys is decent. I've had better, I've had worse. It's a good middle of the road place. The location is sweet, pretty/scenic, busy too. My husband ordered the Brazilian steak & enjoyed it for sure. I got the blackened chicken salad...meh. it's a salad. Kind of hard to mess it up - it lacked flavor a little though. For "blackened chicken" it was mediocre at best. My parents got burgers, one regular one salmon. They enjoyed them as well, each dish comes with a side. So you definitely leave with a fuller belly than you walked in with. Overall, timothys is alrighhhht - you'll get good food and have a decent atmosphere.
