Kozy Korner Restaurant

Different cheesesteak #1013 in the last four years. It was ‘dine in’ Pizza night with @nickspizzaandotherthings302 (on instagram). ‘Dine in’ being the key words. No take out. It had been a long day and I was in no mood for this cheesesteak. From above it looks like it needs more meat. In the center cut picture you can see it has a good amount of meat. A good amount of melted cheese and nice big pieces of onion. When I picked it up I saw it was a thick slice of meat. I was scared. My fear was confirmed with a thin veiny piece of fat in just about every bite. Not a big piece of gristle. That little thin veiny piece of fat that you have to chew forever. I really liked the roll. Other than the fat and $13 price this was a good cheesesteak. It was pizza night so I got a slice of tomato pie. That was good.

A gem which I am so glad I found. I went for lunch and returned the next day for breakfast. The soup is homemade and delicious stock full of fresh vegetables and everything else. Turkey sandwich was fresh baked Turkey and a generous portion on wonderful bread. Breakfast was fluffy pancakes-best ever and eggs cooked perfectly. I would be here every day if I could. It is cash only but no problem because it’s the best bargain you will ever get

Greek omelette was delicious! Home fries were real potatoes not shredded and they were cooked perfectly! Had the hot sausage as a side it was real Italian hot sausage and not hot dog like. Coffee was fresh brewed Lacas and one of my favorite restaurant brands. Very “Kozy” feel and our server was very nice and down to earth! We will definitely be back!

Very good restaurant. The Italian sausage was the best along with the homemade hash brown. The place has GREAT customer service and the southern hospitality feel as I'm from Texas. Our waitress was a full-time Teacher, she was full of energy and gave the platinum customer service. We will be back!!!

I've lived in DE, New Castle county, all my life and in that time, 50yrs, finally got in on a Saturday morning. If I lived in town I may have visited some. Out of sight, out of mind. It is what it says, smaller, kozy spot. Had the Italian omelet. Overall a good experience. Service was good, coffee cup was always full. Will definitely go back before I move.
