Chick-a-dee Restaurant

Had the steak sandwich and potato soup. The steak was cooked perfect and the soup was really good! Service was good. A little nostalgic for me. I use to come here in the late 80’s early 90’s with my dad. So it was nice to see this place is still here! Reason for 4 star. Wish the bread was garlic and it would of been perfect. Definitely recommend.

Kind of a hidden gem on the main drag. Breakfast anytime which I love. Soup was delicious. All the food was good and always has been. Been coming here since I was kid. The best blend of modern and nostalgic. It’s clean and painted but it’s not so remodeled I don’t recognize it which warms my heart bc I used to eat lunch here with my uncle when he was alive. I hope it never closes. Oh and the list of desserts are too long to list. Today we got carrot cake and cookies & cream pie. Might want to split the desserts bc they are pretty large portions.

I was a little apprehensive about going to Chick-A-Dee for dinner on Sunday evening because the building is so dated. Despite the nostalgic decor, melancholy torn booth cushions and slight musty smell, the staff was wonderful and attentive and the food was delicious. Nothing spectacular, just good food and service. Surprisingly, I would go back. The atmosphere was just what was needed because it reminded my husband of being there with his mom when he was little. It seriously IS a blast from the past!

Their homemade soups never disappoint; best in town! The Lasagna is a top notch special, highly recommended.
