First time we had our lovely diner in The White Hart Inn, Cornwall. We like this place, valued of money, food looks good and yummy. The service are quick and friendly host. Although they're quite busy but the service are very attentive. Best recommended and will come back again

We found this little gem last minute on Booking.com and what a find it is. The new manager is the chef and is very friendly as are the lovely staff. Nothing was too much trouble. We ate Dinner here on both of the nights that we stayed and it was superb. Great burgers I have to say and the venison faggot special was delicious. We opted to have breakfast which once again was outstanding. I’ve stayed in many b&b’s and had some pretty basic breakfasts served to me but this was hearty, clean and great quality products. We have booked again for another visit and are looking forward to returning both to the area and The White Hart.

Had a very pleasant and relaxed dinner in the White Hart Inn. The new owner and staff are friendly and sociable. We both had the fish and chips with one specially prepared on request to be gluten free (grilled haddock). Lovely meals after a hard day's walking.

This place is a gem. We were on the way to Newquay and stopped by. Steak burgers, Katsu Burgers and Steak pie were delicious. Chips were the star. Very freshly made and everything was very tasty. Staff was friendly and customer service is excellent.

Superb stay at the White Hart. We are really pleased we found this little gem while looking for a 1 night stay close in the area. The room we stayed in was lovely, really clean and homely - lots of fresh/clean towels, and the best touch for me was fresh milk for tea and coffee (stored in a little fridge). I can't stand the plastic pots of milk, so a bottle of fresh milk was a great touch. The bed was really comfortable, we slept so well. The hot tub was amazing - we spent a good hour in there after our lovely meal, chilling out with a beer. Food in the pub was really good, basic 'pub grub' but that is what we like. Prices were good, and food was lovely, and we enjoyed a drink by the log fire after dinner. Breakfast was really nice too, although we didn't have room to eat it all. The chap running the pub was really attentive, helpful and nothing was too much trouble for him. He made us feel VERY welcome and was friendly and polite. A great stay, and we would definitely stay again if we needed accommodation in the area. The only reason I've knocked 1 star off for location is that the pub is set on a fairly main road, but we only noticed noise from the road once the TV was off - but it didn't stop us falling asleep. There is plenty of parking at the pub too, which I forgot to mention.
