A nice local pub. We have been here twice for food, sadly on both occasions we were told sorry no food today. On a positive note the staff are friendly and it had a good local atmosphere with a great beer garden and large carpark. We have been back since for drinks.

Allowed for a last minute arrival of my aunties wake, everywhere else canceled or made it difficult with numbers but the staff at the ship welcomed us in and let us give her a proper send off.

Absolutely grand place, nice home cooked sunday lunch and good price to. Large seating area outside with a good play space for kids to roam free. Friendly staff to, a definite must but best to book in advance.

Visited today for a birthday celerbration, seated inside but as the sun was out moved all 14 of us outside on our request no problem. The children played and we spoke, great garden. Good food and value for money. Freindly family run pub will be back thank you for a great day
