We tasted the beautiful local beers and the delicious food, prepared with local products, at The Giant's. Both breakfast, lunch and dinner. Friendly owner with his family and staff. Slept well and we felt really welcome. Thanks! Greetings from the Dutch people!

Have never had a bad meal here and staff are always friendly. Cute little country place to visit with a great atmosphere. The little games on the tables are a nice touch too

A lovely pub/ restaurant, the host and staff were very friendly, the food was excellent, I had a prawn and avacado salad and my husband had the sausages. Both were beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, the best sausages we've ever tasted, we shall be heading back there very soon, and highly recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

Lovely place to stay. We stayed here while we were looking for University accommodation. I would definitely stay again.

Friendly local pub popular with locals and tourists. Friendly staff with a welcoming atmosphere. Food was very traditional pub fare, nice quality dishes and well presented. My only criticism is that as a local I would quickly exhaust the menu as I prefer more variety than the traditional offering here. Worth a return visit.

This is the second time we've had their special Christmas Day lunch. Pricey, but an excellent, five course meal. Friendly staff and a convivial atmosphere. The only criticism is not actually their fault, but it does get very noisy in there, and people have to almost shout to be heard. Not very relaxing!

Great country pub. Local Longman beers on tap. Delicious food at decent prices. This is one of the best Sussex pubs in the area. Child and dog friendly. Lovely Sunday roasts and great home cooked pies. One of my favourite pubs.

Good beers and excellent food. Rabbit bacon and prune pie was delicious, good pastry, packed with rabbit meat and the juice in the pie was rich sweet and savoury. Good selection of veg to go with it, a small pot of the juice/gravy to go with the veg would have been nice. Sticky date and ginger pudding was truly excellent. Service pretty good, though we had to attract attention to order desserts. A bit crammed together, though it was a busy Sunday lunch. Very enjoyable.

Stayed here over the weekend for a little getaway with the better half. This cute little place is perfect if you're looking to stay down south for a night or two. Eastbourne and Brighton are only short drives away and the food here is also worth a try. 5 stars. Would highly recommend.

Really cosy and warm. Bar staff very friendly and very welcoming. Just off the main road but far enough away so no noise if you want to drink outside coal fire if you want to be nice and cost inside. A great place for lunch or evening meal.

A nice cosy atmosphere with goos food at an average price. My burger was excellent, it had a lot of very tasty meat in it. The pie was nice, but there wasn't enough gravy. It was very tasty but quite dry. The roast was nice too. A good place to go for an evening meal.
