Brilliant atmosphere, amazing fresh food, and the staff are fantastic. Since the refurb Sarafina is now a great venue for not just a meal, but to have a few drinks and relax. We propped the bar up for a good few hours on a Sunday afternoon and were well looked after by the owners. Can't recommend this place enough.
Me and my boyfriend decided to give Sarafina a visit over the bank holiday weekend and we we're both very impressed with the new menu and great atmosphere! Although it was really busy we got chatting to one of the owners who made our visit extra special. He was more than happy to help on what food and drinks to order. We have been before the refurb and we much prefer the new menu, fresh ingredients, lovely cocktails and perfect portion sizes. The new decor is a big improvement from last time. It's definitely our new favourite place to eat out in Wilmslow. Highly recommend trying the Rigatoni Amatriciana, I have never tried anything like it!
We highly recommend Sarafina 18 of us enjoyed a fabulous 3 course meal, the food was fantastic and the service was spot on,a massive thank you Romin and the team we could not fault a thing. You have a beautiful restaurant and we will be coming back regularly �
I called in here tonight with a friend and arrived half an hour too early and so it was still closed. The owner opened up the restaurant for us and gave us a bowl of olives whilst we looked at the menu. The decor is beautiful... really classy, the staff are excellent and the food was gorgeous. Can't rate it highly enough
As I am not local this was my first time at Sarafina and it certainty didn't disappoint. We were greeted with amazing wine & a fantastic new stylish venue. The staff were all extremley helpful & knowledgeable with both food & accompanying wines. The food was delicious couldn't fault anything and will definitely be back soon! Amazing food with rich flavour, they serve traditional and unique italian dishes that you cant find them in other italian restaurants, staff was really friendly, atmosphere and decoration was so homey, modern and shiny clean. Best italian reataurant in England so far!
My boyfriend and I have been to Sarafina on a few occasions now and have nothing but great things to say. The service is always prompt and friendly. The food is excellent, great variety, with a selection of very tasty specials.
I would recommend it as one of the go to places in Wilmslow. Can’t wait to take advantage of the outside area at the front of the restaurant when the weather picks up.
Popped in for a quick lunch; really enjoyed it. Tried their lunch menu - very straight forward and chose the lasagne and my partner had the tagliattelle with extra chicken. Service was spot on. Portions were on the generous side and very tasteful. A great addition to the area!!
Thanks for a great evening with our friends from CHYPS (Cheshire Youth Pantomime Society). The food was fantastic, a great atmosphere and staff so helpful and friendly. We all loved it and will be back. Highly recommend everyone to try it if you've not been before. Sally Hunt

This place was fantastic. Amazing staff, food and atmosphere. I would definetly recommend his place for a romantic or casual dinner.
The location: easy to find. Not quite on the corner as Google maps would say, but easy to spot as they have decking outside. Parking opposite after 6pm for free parking on weekdays. Not sure if they have thier own parking, so ring them before hand.
Inside. Beautiful. New york - Manhattan style with dark greens and wooded decor. Stylish, mature and sophisticated. Upstairs is more spacious and has its own bar. Downstairs is nice. If dining for two, get a window seat for a nice view.
Toilets are super clean, even more clean than my own bathroom lol. Added photos for your convenience.
Staff are amazing. Especially the young mixed race girl. She is so helpful and kind, definetly left her a tip.
Be aware that for birthdays, they only put candles in the desert and its not free. It might of been because i told them while i was there.
Food was very nice. So rich and tasty. Fully of flavour. Ordered lamb pasta which was amazing and gnocchi which was so light and fluffy. Needs too be lighter as it was very rich. Great portion size.
Final bill with 1 garlic bread starter, 2 mains, roasted potatoes and 1 tiramisu, came to £51.

I regularly visit sarafina for their good food and service, but i do think it's a bit overpriced. For example the sweet potatoe wedges were £4.50 but you only get about 4 wedges. For that price I would expect a lot more.
This place, while a little expensive certainly does deliver on the food front. The steak was one of the best steaks I've ever had in my whole life.

Only just seen this is in the top 10% restaurants in the world. I can honestly say it was sensational! Had a roast which I didn't know they did untill I got there. The lamb was sublime! Pasta sizes perfect. Wine selection ample. Service spot on, not too much but certainly more than enough. Will absolutely be going there again and making this a regular.
Absolutely amazing from start to finish. My girlfriend booked for my birthday. We‘re both vegan and everything we had was delicious- esp the lasagne! They even have vegan Parmesan!! Not only this but the wines were labelled vg too. We went midweek and although we were running late and had to push the table back, we never felt rushed. Really enjoyable experience and relaxed atmosphere. To top it all off, they brought out a sorbet at the end of our meal and had wrote happy birthday in a fruity sauce. Highly recommend this restaurant 👏🏻 Thank you so much.
Lovely food and friendly staff. However they have dropped a star due to the very slow service we had a table for six and it was so busy we sat outside. Unfortunately, we waited over 30 minutes for our starters and about the same for our main course after prompting the waitress. No covid restrictions in place and very crowded. More of a score of 3.5 stars. it's a very popular so best to book ahead.
Delicious meal, great atmosphere, really welcoming, had a great night out, really enjoyable. We were looked after really well, fantastic friendly staff. Highly recommended.
Absolutely beautiful food. It's been a long time since we've eaten authentic Italian food. Their pasta dishes were very tasty.

My wife is Italian and just arrived home from Italy. We stopped here on a whim and were really pleased that we did so. The food is quality rather than quantity and all was freshly prepared and cooked. Never had cannelloni so tasty. Only downside was the British desert menu however that is supply & demand and our nation does love its sticky toffee pudding... The affogato I had though was wonderful with coffee and amaretto.
I often dine at Sarafina Wilmslow as it is one of my favourite Italian restaurants in Cheshire! The food is authentic and always delicious and the service is so friendly and welcoming, Sunday eve I had a lovely roast dinner with my mum for her birthday, the staff were lovely and helped providing cake to help us celebrate. Great service and food always.
Beautiful food and excellent customer service. A relatively small place, but well decorated and a good use of space. Smaller tables, so I would recommend calling for a big table. Perfectly sized portions, my partner and I were quite full from a starter and main. I would most definitely recommend.
The food and staff where amazing. We shared a pizza that was delicious and the lasagna was one of the best I have had. A perfect place for a date, family meal or catch up with firends. The restaurant was also very compliant with Covid rules, this made us feel like it was a very safe venue. Enjoy!

I cannot compliment Sarafina enough - I have eaten here on numerous occasions, both evenings and lunch times - the food has always been amazing as have the staff. Pre-covid I organised a race day for 40 women, where we had brunch in the morning and returned later for three course meal, taking over the upstairs. Nothing was too much trouble and the communication was excellent throughout and the price per head was very reasonable. Since then have helped organised an outdoor ladies day and Sarafina did the catering. This was absolutely brilliant, they turned up early and prepped the canapes at the house so they were all so fresh, and helped served the drinks on arrival, they then returned several hours later to serve a gorgeous three course meal. They waited on the whole time, clearing plates and topping up glasses. When they left the kitchen was immaculate, all plates stacked just waiting to go into dish washer. It took all the pressure off the organisers and allowed them to have a great day, stress free. Pesh and Romin are brilliant at tailoring to all needs, they easily adapt to any problems and make every occasion very special. We are very lucky to have such a great restaurant on our doorstep.
Food was really good. We have not been for some years. Shame about loud music which I suspect would not suit any any ones taste. Why if we are not be talking loud to one another to stop aspirating possible virus is music so loud we have too?
Staff are very friendly and good service. Shame it has dumbed down furnishing. It used to be like restaurant in table and chairs. Now usual trendy plain wooden stuff like eating on a park bench rather than lovely white or coloured tables.
