Always delivers the goods. By far the best Indian restaurant in Wilmslow, yes restaurant isn’t all flash and modern like some others but the food is far superior, proper curry no frills. Been really busy recently which is good to see people are finally realising where the best Indian food is in SK9!

The food is always good quality, it seems to have become a little bit more expensive than our last visit. £15 a Tandoori Mixed grill, mains around £13 with rice extra. The staff were helpful and attentive and alcohol prices reasonable for a restaurant. Top marks for getting the No Fresh Coriander right and for pointing out that one of the relishes had coriander leaves in it. Prices still the same, so relatively cheaper! Still the same quality and friendly staff.

We are usually drawn to the lamb chops and chicken chat as starters but every meal I've tried has been excellent. Portions are generous and quality is consistent. A monthly visit is highly recommended. The staff welcome everyone and the place is a real gem.

I love the food, but I'd really like to see some work into the waiter area. The last few times I've been, there have been multiple staff coming over and it is a bit much. Maybe you should assign tables to specific people so that they don't get mixed up trying to all serve everybody at once! Either way, I enjoy coming here or getting a takeaway from them.

The food was excellent and the service was as well until it was time to pay the bill which was very reasonable, my wife is a mature student and noticed that there is a 15% discount for students, even better! She produced her card and was told very rudely “we don’t take those”, I reminded him that it says on the menu about the student discount, he went to get the manager who appeared very disgruntled, examined the card and said disbelievingly in front of a packed restaurant “is this yours! I pointed to the photo of my wife on the other side and said “of course it is”. He then said very rudely again “only she gets discount, not you”, to which I replied “I don’t expect discount, I’m not a student”. He then proceeded to get a calculator out at the table in front of the other diners and altered each item on the bill instead of taking it away and coming back with a new one. All this was very embarrassing and consequently we only left a small tip to reflect the good food. The point is, if they only want to give discount to teenage students then they should make that plain in the menu! We spend a lot of money in restaurants but we won’t be back there again or recommending it, despite the excellent food.

shame young man had lost his smile. Starters fantastic then we got the curries. Should have been garlic chicken, lamb buna and rogan josh. Chicken all three no lamb all tasted exactly the same. Second time being there. First time friendly this time service hit and miss. Loved naan bread. Will give one one try and see what happens next time.
