A very homely and spacious pub with beautifully presented food. However, 3 of the starters came out cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen, they were particularly officiant at resolving this issue. We had a group of 11 pre-booked in advance; food came out in reasonable time.
Waiters were very attentive and it was a lovely atmosphere.

Was a great experience here at the Three Legged Cross. I loved that they had glutenfree choices available too and the food and drinks were really delicious. Our group was completely satisfied! Staff was friendly and helpful as well. Can definitely recommend!

Beautiful pub aesthetically. The food was great, gravy could have been thicker but I’m being picky. Overall a fantastic experience and would highly recommend, especially if you have a dog.

One of the loveliest burgers me and my dad have ever had! He had beef, I had chicken. Was so tasty. Service was great, staff friendly, prices reasonable. Been here a few times now. Highly recommend this pub :)

Really lovely food, good portions and all at a good price. Great menu choice and very kind, helpful staff - they took the time to listen to and entertain my little daughter who loves to chat to everyone! The whole pub has a really nice feel and is a great space to eat!

Have been semi-regular here since it was the run by friends back when it was called the old barn farm. The food has always been great but we decided to try our first Christmas dinner out as a family. They accommodated 11 of us and all the food was better than expected with nice portions, bigger than they look, were made to feel very welcome by happy, helpful staff and not a miserable face in sight. Thanks so much to everyone at TTLC for making it such a great day. Maybe see you next Christmas!!

Had a sirloin steaks, accompanied by the baked mushrooms, as a extra side. A perfectly cooked medium steak, just as i like it. Was informed that the steak had been cooked by a chef called Jay. Just want to give recognition to this gentleman. It was absolutely outstanding and big thankyou to all the staff, for looking after us so well.

We would have liked to see more vegan/vegetarian options on the menu but what we did have was delicious.
A great choice of soft drinks.
And I loved being in the section with the dogs (one of our group had their dog).
The staff were all lovely, too.

Lovely staff and great food. You need to be able to dislocate your jaw to get it around the burger, but, it’s very tasty. The beef bourguignon was amazing. King prawn & scallop and Camembert starters were superb. Well worth a visit! 👍🏼

Gorgeous country pub, welcoming, lovely decor, clean & pleasant. Hubbie had a steak and chips, I had a starter of creamy mushrooms on sourdough. Tasty and delicious! Dogs welcome too. Perfect!

Mid week quick lunch stop really. Staff friendly. Real ale in perfect condition. Didn't order anything complicated but was served after those that ordered behind me. No big issue but a little strange. Couldn't say anything about atmosphere as this was an early afternoon stop and the establishment was quiet. Would and will visit again.

Very beautiful building inside and super cosy inside. Nice garden with a little pond outside, parking on premises. Food average, nothing too special, classic pub food.vdog friendly.

We enjoyed this traditional British restaurant.
Both the dishes we had were good (chicken and lamp). I love the beers on tap everywhere, very British.
Service was nice, easy to park right outside, a nice and tasty stop in our trip in New Forest.

Just had lunch there today for a friends Birthday. There were 10 of us and the lovely waitress Anna looked after us well. Food was lovely, hot and tasty and very ample portions. My second visit here recently and I was not disappointed.

Popped in on Sunday afternoon on the off chance of getting a table and we were accommodated despite the pub being busy. Lovely friendly staff and the pub is cosy and inviting. Sunday menu was hard to choose from as it all looked great. Had trio roast and duo of beef roast which had a huge short rib! The quality and flavour of the food was excellent and fairly priced. We did not have to wait long and our extra requests were dealt with quickly. I would recommend this pub for food and drinks without hesitation!

Just visited the pub for a treat to my gran for a Sunday Roast as we don't live near and last time we enjoyed a fantastic meal and service. What a change today. We were booked in for 12:30 and on arrival waited about 5mins to be acknowledged before seating us.
We were quickly sorted with drinks and that was the only bit we enjoyed. We ordered our meals to be told that they were our of lamb but we would have double turkey. My daughter ordered the salad with no anchovies.
We waited close to an hour before the food arrived, no double turkey and anchovies in the salad. We told the waitress and were brought 3 slices of dry cold turkey in a dessert bowl!
We then waited 25mins for the table to be cleared and pudding menu brought. We ordered but requested no goats cheese or blue cheese. Eventually they arrived and hey presto 'that's Stilton not blue cheese and that's White cheese not goats'. They returned with the same plate less the Stilton.
The high and mighty Mrs Bucket (landlady) got a talking to from my wife and then produced a cheeseboard in a large hot pudding bowl, dumped on the table and the comment 'cheese' made by her.
We tried to pay and waited a further 20mins! This has nothing to do with the waitress staff, but a management that don't put enough people on and they themselves don't care. 2 and half hours for 6 people to pay £125 for a bad meal- shocking! No reduction on the bill or even acknowledgement. AVOID this pub......

My wife , me and two of our children have just had a Christmas eve meal and it's probably the best meal I've had out for years. The steaks were definitely the best along with the rest of the food which was perfect. All the staff were polite and efficient.
A Perfect way to start Christmas.
Thankyou to all at the Three cross.

Lovely meal for both myself and my wife. Good service even though a busy Friday night and food was quick and absolutely gorgeous! That and doom bar on draught what could be better!

We popped in for lunch yesterday as we were passing.
I had the stone baked portabello mushroom and cheese pizza. Was very yummy
( would of liked a side of salad, but that's just me)
My friend had fish and chips.
All in all a lovely meal in nice settings. Food arrived promptly and hot plates which is always a must.

Have to admit I was very disappointed with the Fish Finger Sandwich. Was expecting white crusty bread but got a pitta type bread. The fish fingers were lumps of batter with little or no fish. If I wasn't on a works lunch I would have sent it back. Shame because I'd really been looking forward to a simple fish finger sarnie.

Easy to park, pleasant garden to sit in and eat outside, fish cakes were homemade and good same as steak pie, which unfortunately my husband was disappointed with, it had lots of puff pastry but when he cut into the pastry the pie dish was 1/3rd full not much filling ..... we will visit again though that didn't put us off xxx

My partner and I have been to the three legged cross numerous times over the past few years and we have never been disappointed by the food or the service. We attended last night for some 'couple' time away from the kids and enjoyed every course we had. I particularly loved my pizza and begged to take the rest home - which, of course, wasn't a problem! The staff are always really polite and very efficient.
Definitely one of my favourite places to eat or just to have a drink and unwind.

We had 3 roast dinners and a fish and chips, plus 3 desserts. Food and drinks were lovely and we had a very friendly, chatty waitress, think her name was Debbie. Nothing was too much trouble. However, I had my mum with me, who was in a wheelchair and when I took her to the disabled toilet, it was just a normal toilet with a bar beside it, but not a raised toilet, which most disabled people need. Trying to get someone with dodgy knees off a stupidly low toilet is not easy. Disabled toilets are usually raised. Shame this issue let you down. We heard that you are having a refit next month so I hope you actually include a real disabled toilet.

Last minute decision to eat out with my bestie, lovely food, excellent service. Would not hesitate to recommend it & will be visiting again soon.
