We came here on a Wednesday afternoon after a lovely country walk. It's obviously a popular place and has lots of seating areas and from the ceiling hangs an array of tea pots! Lots of friendly staff. We sat in the rear garden and ordered egg sandwiches with salad ( fresh eggs from the hens in the back). It was absolutely delicious, a huge doorstep whopper! Didn't have any room left for the lovely cakes but hope to return and try them.

Really quirky cafe, great eclectic decor along with a friendly dog and a chicken wandering in and out! Great food, homemade pies, sausage rolls, quiche and pork pies, all of which look amazing! Also, just about every cake you can think of, various scones and absolutely huge tea cakes. In addition to a menu of sandwiches, toasties, small meals and a breakfast menu in the morning!! Epic! Outside is a reclaimed furniture place, a bits and bobs retro type shop and a craft shop too! Well worth a visit 😃

Nice place, awesome food awesomer surroundings . Customers there seemed a little 'aware of themselves', staff ambivalent. Reasonable prices, and, again, some shockingly decent fayre on offer

The most amazing cream tea , the food was so fresh and everything was home made which really makes it stand out from other cream teas we have tried. Good selection of sandwiches lovely fillings, the scones were so light and the cakes delicious . Love all the different crockery and teapots they use and the decor so many different things to look at. The staff are so friendly and helpful and even though they were busy they were very accommodating finding us a table for 12 on a very wet day. Thank you ! We had a lovely time and will definitely be back soon

Went to Aunt Fanny’s cafe for breakfast with some friends when it open at 9am. It very cosy and spacious. Has lots of quirky bits. When you go in there try to read all the signs hanging around by the counter and on the walls as they are so funny. They have a lot to choose from for the food. As I was there for breakfast I only saw the breakfast menu. When I was looking around I saw a lots of nice cakes, hot pies and fish cakes in the counters. They have lots to chose for drinks hot or cold. You can buy there bread if you love to so much so you can take some home. I had some of the bead it was so good. It great value for money too. All the staff are very friendly and welcoming. All in all It was a great place to go eat and have some time with family or friends. I highly recommend to go there.

We took our friends here for coffee this morning and they absolutely loved it. Aunt Fanny's is really quirky and has a fantastic atmosphere. The food is delicious and all home cooked. Luckily it's dog friendly too as my friend has a hearing support dog. Many thanks to the owners for a wonderful morning. 😀 xxx

What a lovely hidden gem! We came as a group of 4 adults and 2 kids and the staff went above and beyond to cater for all our needs (dietary and requests). We were quite demanding, unintentionally, but the staff were happy to help every time and made our visit really special. Would 100% go back.

Probably the best lunch we've had in years. Pork pie ploughman's made on the premises, as was the chutney and Cole slaw. Couldn't fault any of it. My wife had a fish finger sandwich on brown bread. Huge, with homemade tartare sauce and a side salad. Pot of strong tea for 2 to finish. £25 the lot. Definitely going to be a regular. Plenty of seating too.

Friendly staff and lovely food. Not pushchair friendly however as narrow walk through between tables. Has one toilet and a changing mat but will av to use floor as not side table. Has baby high chairs which is good. Not as cheap as i would have hoped but the quality and quantity make up for it. Will defo return.

The best full English yet! Amazing tasty sausages, great bacon, fresh bubble and squeak, a choice of white/brown toast. Latte was delicious too. Will have to come back and sample one of their gorgeous looking cakes the next time!

We went for breakfast and it was delicious! Very generous portions and lovely variety of options. We had eggs Benedict and ham, Aunt Fanny's large breakfast and eggy bread. All meals were very well received and filled us all up. We also bought a range of homemade cakes and once again portion size is strong. Highly recommended

Turned up here for a motorcycle club turn up. 8 x of us turned up and what a fabulous place this is. Lovely staff. Fantastic fresh food. 3 of us had the large breakfast, wow, what a beautiful plate of food. The fish finger sandwich was just the business. One of us had the quiche with salad. The others had sandwiches. Great service. Lots of lovely cakes were also on offer. A very busy place. There must have been 20 x cyclists (push bikers) there as well as the local lunch trade. Thank you to all the staff, chefs, front of house staff for a great lunchtime meet up. You all deserve 5*****. Regards Nev
