What a great place. The staff were friendly and attentive, food was great especially breakfast… the room was clean and comfortable. I spoke to Trevor the receptionist and he was so extremely attentive to my wife and I. A real professional. Will be back next year for sure.
Lovely pub. Meeting room would benefit from plug sockets near the meeting table. Friendly staff other than what i assume was the landlord. He was a tad abrupt. The guy who wore painting overalla however who brought thr drinks was lovely and very friendly. Also thr female member of bar staff also very good. Food was lovely but a few decent items not avaiable.
Nice pub/hotel but in need of a refurbishment as it's looking tired in places. The rooms are good but need modernising but the beds were so comfortable All the staff were fantastic and couldn't do more to help you. Had a few drinks at the bar and the beer was in good condition. Breakfast was delicious but overall a very nice stay in a great location over the square in the centre of the town.
Lovely stay at ThexKings Head in the town Square in Wimborne. Spacious room and large en suite with endless hot water.
Great value meals and drinks. Very friendly staff led by the manageTrefor who I believe is new to the hotel but clearly knows what he's doing in terms of motivating a happy team.
Would highly recommend.

I recently stayed at the Kings Head Hotel in Wimborne Minster and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warm and friendly hospitality that made me feel right at home.
One thing that stood out to me was the fantastic selection of beers available at the hotel's bar. As a beer lover, it was great to see such a variety of local and international brews on tap. The staff were also incredibly knowledgeable about the different beers and were happy to make recommendations based on my tastes.
The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable, with a large, comfy bed that made for a great night's sleep. Although the hotel's car park is quite small, there was plenty of parking available nearby, so it wasn't an issue at all.
One of the main reasons for my stay at the Kings Head Hotel was to attend a local theatre show, and I was pleased to find that it was just a short walk away. The hotel's location is perfect for exploring the charming town of Wimborne Minster and the surrounding areas.
Overall, I can't recommend the Kings Head Hotel enough. The friendly staff, excellent beer selection, and comfortable rooms make it a top choice for anyone looking to stay in the area. I'll definitely be back! 5 stars!
Visited for food when traveling south. We had our dog so criteria was a dog friendly place serving food after 8pm on a Friday. The Kings Head fit the bill perfectly.
We both ordered lasagne, which arrived so quickly we were in no doubt about cooking method before we even saw the food. That being said, it was a decent lasagne (no doubt helped by the fact we were hungry). The garlic bread ordered as a side was a bit soggy but not too bad eaten with the lasagne.
Only stayed for the food with one drink, as we had to continue our journey. Staff were friendly and everything was reasonably priced.
We unexpectedly dropped in for lunch on Saturday. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, we had a lovely quiet table by a window overlooking the market square.
The food was served quickly and was delicious, the choices were limited but adequate, it was well cooked and reasonably priced. Will call again when next in Wimborne.
My wife and I cannot fault The King's Head Hotel at all. The day of our wedding was fantastic. Everything that needed to be done was and the staff were excellent, especially Laura,Zoe and Sam. They made the whole process and experience a truly memorable day. Our bridal room was fantastic. It was if we had our own wing!!. Thank you once again.( Head office please take note)
Shaun and Emma looked after us in spectacular fashion. Nothing was too much trouble for either of this excellent pair. We had a fabulous room, slept amazingly well. We will definitely be back ❤️
Don't know the ladies name but on Sunday morning she squeezed us in a late breakfast and treated us with exceptional politeness and attention.
All three of the staff were just amazing ❤️
