Review Millstream Bistro - Wimborne

Excellent meal and service. Was only going to have a quick sandwich but after having such a warm welcome and looking at the interesting menu we decided on 2 dishes and a naughty portion of thick cut chips. What a delight the food was really excellent . Can't believe I've only just found them. Will definitely be going back again..

My daughter and son-in-law held their recent wedding reception here - first class from start to finish. Excellent food, slick and attentive service that would grace any 5 star Hotel. Nothing but positive comments from family and guests alike. A local gem !

Amazing Food in a very nice setting. Friendly helpful staff. I have been to lots of private parties here and never been disappointed with the food. Also great to pop in for a coffee while the kids play around the stream.

The food was very good, but the portions are a bit small if you are hungry. There is a wait for the food to arrive, which is ok as it is being freshly prepared, not just warmed up. Pleasant dining area, which will have some nice views of the river when the weather is better.

Just had a private party in the Bistro. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink and the food was superb - brilliantly presented and served. Everything we wanted was done immediately and the Staff anticipated our needs - more chairs just appeared for the meal which originally was booked as a stand up buffet! All our guests commented on both the food and service which was just perfect as it reflect they all loved it too! We'd highly recommend the Millstream Bistro for a private party and certainly if you just fancy a drink and mea or snack in Wimborne.

It was a private party the food was excellent and service good. The only criticism is the tables, they could do with all being the same shape to fit together better! Minor point! Great place for a private party of up to about 30 people

Had lunch here during a craft session nearby. Clean and tidy with lots of choice and treated good. Idyllic setting and I was really lucky the weather was warm to sit outside and really enjoy my lunch.

Lovely place, very helpful and friendly staff. Couldn't do enough for us. Beautiful spot with over hanging trees and a stream. Great coffee too!

Ideal pace for a Wake for Poole Crematorium. Lovely staff, lovely food. Great atmosphere. A hidden gem.

Only had a pot of tea for one - they dont do a pot for two! But paying £1 for extra hot water was a bit much when it comes as standard elsewhere!

Had a lovely coffee morning with Dorset Artists. Sal worked her buns off and the coffee cakes and tea cakes were lovely.

Excellent cafe with friendly staff and interesting building by the old mill. Good local art displays around the walls.

Very cosy, friendly staff and the lemon pudding was really stunning and just melted in the mouth with the most delicious taste

Probably best chips you can get. Look at the article and then come and eat art. Beautiful surroundings. Toilets need a bit of work though.
