The Willow Tree - Winchester - Photo album

I visited with a mate for a catch-up. What a fantastic pub! Good range of ales and other beers, very nice inside and a terrific beer garden by the river. The staff were all friendly and really on the ball, doing the rounds in the garden to bring further refreshments. We only had sandwiches and frie
Nice little pub ! Popped in by chance as it was lashing it down outside. Ended up having a few beers and some food. Good food and beer……Very relaxed atmosphere 👍🏼
Having been to The Willow Tree a few times over the years, it's always felt confused about its identity. Is it a local pub? Gastropub? Who knew. However, the new owners clearly have direction, as after it's refurb, it's looking fantastic. We only stopped for drinks but the food looked great, and th
Lovely pub, with friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The food was excellent, made with real passion and care which is hard to find these days. Some of the best if not the best pub food I’ve had.
Very nice place to eat and drink while sitting by the river in the sunshine. Only 4 stars for service due to feeling a bit ignored upon entry. A "hello, can I help you" leading to being shown to our table and it would have been perfect!
Just popped in for a nice late Saturday afternoon drink. Such a great place very friendly and excellent staff you can be expecting excellent service here. Thanks so much 🙏
Lovely pub with amazing beer garden by the river. We enjoyed the roast beef for lunch and it does not get any better. Beautifully cooked beef, thickly sliced accompanied by Yorkshire pud and lovely veg. All freshly prepared and cooked. Highly recommend, you won't be disappointed!!
A beautiful meal, in a beautiful beer garden with the most lovely, welcoming, friendly staff who go out of their way to make your time there enjoyable. A large gluten free selection of food too. I just wish we lived closer!
Love what they have done with the place and I hope it is successful, as it's lovely to have this little oasis just a little bit away from the hubub of the City centre. Would just like a little more in the way of choices of beer. Food and service are excellent. Garden between two branches of the r
A lovely garden. We went in the afternoon and it was hot and sunny sat in the shade under the pergola which had lights and heating gor the evening. There was even a nox of blankets there. Reasonable price for drinks. Toilets very clean. Staff friendly
Lovely garden setting, with lots of tables. We were pleased there was a lunch menu with sandwiches, perfect. The service was fast and the food was tasty.
Wanted a quick and tasty lunch outside in the sunshine and that exactly what we got. I had Brevet steak and fries which was cooked perfectl. My partner had a BLT. The garden is lovely and by the river. Worth a visit
Had the leg of lamb roast, lovely food! Rest of the family enjoyed their food too. It's what a pub should be/feel like.
Beautiful garden, restful. Friendly staff. Good for disabled. Lovely food. Great to have this pub back again. But much better.
Fantastic location on the river. Great range of beer. Saturday nights are very busy, get there early. Nice and quiet on a Sunday evening, just right for a nice quiet beer. Cheers
