A nice local, not a huge amount of seating but reasonably upscale as you'd expect from Winchester. Opposite the cinema gives a great location for pre or post movie drinks. Friendly staff, reasonable but not exceptional drink selection.

This is a lovely pub. Within an easy walk from the train station. So warm and comfortable. The food is very good and at a reasonable price. There is a good selection of drinks for all tastes. I would recommend this bar for a good natter with friends or a catch up with family.

Nice Winchester pub, quite with no sport. Lots of good secluded areas fit couples out small groups to have quite drinks & talk. This is a great place for a drink & chat after the cinema. Lots of things to look at around the pub. Good food with a dining area upstairs. Have a loyalty card shared with the other locations in the group.

The Green Man is one of the most relaxing and quirky pubs in Winchester with an extensive range of quality food, wines and spirits. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and will always find the time to go the extra mile. The food menu changes regularly and whenever we have eaten here we've left satisfied. The only negative is that it isn't a cheap night out but you do get what you pay for so I can't complain too much! Part of the independantly run 'Little Pub Group', there are a variety of incentives to visit their other local venues that all boast different characters but the same core quality of experience.

Really enjoyed the overall experience. Cozy place. Very nice staff. The food is great: original dishes, good ingredients quality and generous portions. Their terrine is amazing. They also offer a large choice of G&Ts.

Very nice pub! Serves one of the best Sunday roasts. Dark, small and cosy just like a pub should be like. Has quirky features such as a row of cinema seats and eclectic decoration.

Nice pub with a good selection of ales. They need to turn the heating up though, pubs are meant to be cosy! I had to put on my jacket on my last visit, and I don't usually feel the cold.

Really good food with funny and friendly staff. Fab decor and very accommodating as we were quite a large group. Worth a little walk out of the town centre to get to.

The food and staff are always fantastic. In fact we like it so much we held our wedding reception there. They also have a fantastic selection of rum and gin!

Small but lovely local pub with a decent range of beers. If you want to get away from the crowds in town, head 5 minutes uphill and check this place out
